CHAPTER - 41

After telling Sorn's story to his lover,

Day went to shower and change before

leaving the bathroom and sitting on

the bed to talk with Brick until it was

time to rejoin everyone. Day took

Brick downstairs and waited in the

foyer below, Brick stared at the cake

in the cupboard, until Day had to glare

at Brick, who smiled back, then Neil.

Nick, Mac and Nan, went downstairs to

meet..

"How are we going?" Brick asked Nan

as everyone got ready.

"P'Pom lent me his car, but you might

have to sit a little tight, okay?" asked

Nan.

"Okay, it's not that hard," Neil said, and

Day and Brick nodded in agreement.

"Well I'll drive, huh, I know a few

routes and I'll take you to a nice

restaurant" Nan replied, befo re

walking away to get the car keys from

the owner and walking to the car.

which was parked out front. Mac sat

up front with Nan. In the back sat. Day.

Brick, Neil, and Nick, and when they

all got into the car, Nan immediately

drove straight to the restaurant.

"I brought an antihistamine with me."

Day said as he sat in the car. Brick

turned and looked at Day puzzled.

"I'm not allergic to river shrimp. Why

did you bring it?" Brick asked back.

"Just in case, you said you had pimp

eggs before and still had an allergic

reaction," Day said, returning to his

soft voice.

"You say that to scare me, I'm going to

eat a lot of river shrimp," Brick said in

a long accent, and Day smiled slightly.

Not long after, the 6 arrived at the

restaurant, it was a Thai-style house,

and there was a Thai atmosphere.

When they got out of the car, all 6 of

them got in.

"How many can you give me to eat?"

Brick immediately asked, as he walked

in with Day, Nan informed the hostess

that he had already called to reserve

a table, and the staff immediately

ushered them to the reserved area.

"Are you going to eat everything from

the restaurant?" Day pretended to

say and continued to follow the team.
