Chapter 36

"The Second Great Eclipse War... is that what I seen? When was the first? And wait there's a war coming!?" I ask.

"Hey what you guys whispering about there?" Calum asks.

"Don't worry Twilight, it'll all make sense in due time." Din'El whispers back as he begins to step back away from me. "Until then, just stay alive and keep getting stronger."

"Keep getting stronger for what?" Jothermus asks. "No matter how stronger he gets or how stronger you make him, it won't be enough for me, right Din'El?"

I can't even begin to respond to Jothermus's comment, my brain is overloaded with information. An incoming war? Why can I see it before it's happened? How does Din'El, this man that I've never met before know I'm the alleged, Twilight Knight? Nothing makes sense. But none of that matters right now, I've still got a job to do, capturing Rosaleen Blanchette, the Red Riding Hood.

Din'El chuckles.

"Whatever you say Jothermus. But it's time I get back to my workout regiment back at my barrack, so I now take my leave." Din'El turns around walking back to the small crater he made. "Oh yeah, sorry about the crater by the way."

Din'El pulls down his glasses and the cracked ground instantly gets restored back to the way it was before his arrival.

"Alright, Chow!!" Din'El throws his left hand up as his body quickly dematerializes into purple Aether and small orbs as the air and space around him seem to pull in, almost like looking at the waves of a heat mirage.

"Wh-what was that?!" One human Knight Officer asks to another.

"You don't know? Oh right you're new around here, that's the power of the Domus Observer Eye, the eye connected to all space and domains. I guess to keep from creating another crater from his immense power, 4th Seat Din'El simply stepped through space back to his barracks." The other older human Knight Officer replies.

"In-incredible."

"Barracks?" I turn to Calum and ask.

"You simpleton." Jothermus interjects before Calum lets out a word.

"I wasn't even talking to y-!"

"Stone Ocean happens to be the HQ of all the Knight Officers, however every individual squadron or unit has their own individual Barrack, or Mini hq in a sense. Since Din'El is in squad 10 I'm pretty sure their barrack is located within the 2nd district, while we are currently located inside of the 1st district."

"Thank you for that valuable piece of information."

"Oh you're welcome." Jothermus replies with his nose to the sky.

"So what now, Third Seat?" I turn to ask Calum.

"Hm, now we set you up with a ride, reverse summon you on the inside of the Sage Forrest, and let you handle the rest."

"A ride? Okay okay, what horse you got for me?"

"A horse?" Calum along with the surrounding knight offices erupt into laughter. "That's not how we here at Squad 7 get around. FIFTH SEAT SAJIN BROWNCLAW!!"

Suddenly a grayish beam of light shines from behind me.

I turn back to look at the source of the light to see Sajin, the older Beastian Knight from before, and great uncle of Calum.

"Yes, 3rd seat Calum?" Sajin asks before walking past me, purposely bumping into my shoulder as if I didn't even exist.

"Reverse summon us to our barracks, so that we can provide Finn with a ride for his mission."
