when we arrived at school, i got out of the car and took a deep sigh. i couldn't stand to see that bitchy face today. ugh, can he just not be in?
i walked up to the school's gates when i heard a familiar voice making me roll my eyes-
"hey princess"
i turned her head in defeat to see the annoying brat- yang jungwon. i was already tired, and seeing him first thing in school made me so mad.
"what do you want?"
"woah, no need to be so blunt yun-iee."
"how many fucking times have i told you to not call me those stupid nicknames yang jungwon."
"i don't care. i like it so cope." he said as he walked away. everything about him made her so angry. i wouldn't care if he was popular and dumb, but he was smart. and he's annoying. ugh, stop yunah. you have tests to worry about.

yunah reassured herself as she tried to find her friends.
"yun-ieeeeeee you're hereeeee!!!!"
she smiled as she heard her best friend call her name. as embarrassing as it was, she was used to it. yunah was greeted with a tight hug from her literal lifeline- hyein.

as they both walked down the hallway to their class, everyone whispered. it was normal for the popular girls to hear the shit they heard everyday-
"wah she's so pretty"
"back off, she's mine"
"oh gosh, its yunah and hyein"
"i can't believe they're more popular than me. its not fair"
"i know right, and the fact that the boys would talk to them instead of us"
"ugh, she's just a pick me. that's the only reason jungwon talks to her"
for them, it was normal hearing shit talk and fanboys. it was kinda annoying though. the fact that people were so invested in their lives made them sick.

the girls sat in their seats getting ready for their test. as students began to fill the room, yunah became more and more nervous. she had to do well, she can't embarrass herself and disappoint her parents again. she prayed and prayed when she heard-
"right, silence guys. no more talking we're under exam conditions now. you can start once i've handed out the paper to everyone. good luck!" the teacher said as the students all fell into silence.

i was sitting in my place waiting for my test when i looked up to see yunah sitting in the opposite corner of the class. she seemed worried and tired? has she not slept? is she stressing too much because i beat her last time?
aish jungwon why are you thinking about her. you're enemies, nothing less and nothing more than that.

the sound of papers flicking, pens clicking and students sighing filled the room. nothing could be seen but a bunch of teenagers gripping their hair as their hands scribbled all over the sheet in front of them. the tests were so important since they were in their last year of high school. and being in the top school in korea means being the pride and joy of the nation's grades and reputation.
