"does anyone know you're here?"
i shook my head before asking, "why did you want to see me? its been so long"
"break up with jungwon"
"what?"
"you heard me yunah. break up with him or I'll kill him"
my whole world stopped.
"but mum, what did i even do to you? we haven't talked in ages and me and jungwon haven't done anything?"
"jiah wants to marry him"
the tears i had been holding back finally fell out. jiah? my hands were shaking.
"why are you doing what she tells you?"
"her father can ruin my fucking business yunah. why doesn't that stupid mind of yours get that? you have until tomorrow night to cut him off. oh, and you're brother. don't expect to see him again either"
before i could say another word, she left.
but, im not ready to let go yet...
~time skip to 6pm, narrator pov~
yunah walked in the house after hours of being outside. she made sure her eyes were no longer puffy from all the tears. she kept telling herself she was doing this for jungwon's safety, not for her mum. but she knew deep down, she still cared. even if it was for the both of them, she was ready to do anything.
"j-jungwon?"
"what happened? why do you look so sad?"
"i um- w-we should break up"
the boys were left in shock. jungwon got teary-eyed as he pulled her aside.
"yunah? what's going on? our relationship's going so well. did i do something wrong sweetheart? if i did im sorry but please don't do this-"
"jungwon, its not your fault-"
"then don't leave"
yunah looked up at him. her tears were getting uncontrollable.
"im sorry. i'll get the maid to pack my stuff"
she walked out without looking back. jungwon was left shocked. he felt like his world stopped.
"y-yah why are you two breaking up? where is she going in this pouring rain?" jay said
instead of replying, jungwon ran after her, but it was too late. he saw her car leave the gates.
"yunah, i love you"
