I knew it I fucking knew it when I walked past this girl in the cafe with bright red hair I payed no to her attention until I heard that all familiar laugh and then she turned her head to me and her eyes widened in recognition, she knew who I was. It was fucking Mayah our Mayah

No one around me payed attention to the small red head except me and it was killing me that no one had seen her so I knew when she left I had to follow her, she had started to get up almost straight after our encounter and exited into a monster truck from the help of some guy

I looked at ash who was staring at me weirdly watching me. Maybe she knew. "Yes mommy" I said looking at her innocently. She shook it off going back to talking when I realised what I had to do and stood up abruptly making them all look at me strange

"I erm h-have to go t-to the erm library yep the library I have to pick up some books" Ash looks at me "Since when do you read baby"

I groan not having time for this. "Since forever now I really have to go before it shuts"

And I run out, I know I'm going to be in so much trouble but it's worth it. I start to walk towards where I last saw the car and realise I don't know how long I'm going to be walking for so I grab one of those bikes you have to pay for and start peddling as fast as I can to catch up

I start to peddle and end up peddling for about 10 minutes before I start to really catch up.we've only been here for around two days so I end up getting a bit sidetracked looking at the city and lose the fucking truck for a good like five minutes until I see the truck turning out of quite rich and quiet neighbourhood meaning she lives somewhere in here

I dump the bike and end up walking around trying to find where she would probably live and I come across a house with a rose emblem engraved into the gate. Linda and jack Rose

The gate is clearly locked so I walk round the back to a open door in the fence and me being me I obviously have to walk in. The garden is amazing. Stop being so sidetracked Leonardo

I walk towards the back doors where I see her in the kitchen I think looking for what I'm gonna say is food. Now thinking about it I'm starting to realise I never came up with a plan to confront her

Only realising this now I decide to do the only logical thing and jump into the bushes only realising how loud bushes are especially when you jump into fucking sharp ass thorn bushes

I hear quietness until I hear a fucking shout and the safety of a god damned gun click off
"Whoever's in there needs to get the fuck out or I will shoot your ass out"

I'm going to fucking die oh my god I'm dead. I start to rustle loudly in the bush panicking not knowing what to do, when I dig my hand into a thorn and decide to jump out to run when I feel something on my forehead holding me down
It's a real gun yep I'm dead definitely dead

"Now who the fuck are you and why-" She stops talking and just stares at me before her own eyes widen"What the actual fuck"

Completely forgetting my position I start to ramble"Fuck it's r-really you I missed you May-May"

She freezes again, I don't know but she looks like she's going to cry and then rids her face of all previous emotions and stares at me

"I don't know who that is but my name is Elodie and you need to get out my house before I shoot you the fuck up" She screams at me like actually fucking screams in my face

I look shocked as tears leave my eyes and i shakes my head, I thought this was going to be much easier "May please it's me Leo we miss you c-"

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE AND DONT COME BACK OR I WILL FIND YOU AND SHOOT YOU MYSELF"

She starts shaking the gun vigorously in my face and I run out the gate in fear. My hands fumbling to pick up my phone to call Ash she picks up on the first ring something she's always been good at "Mommy I'm scared please come get me please mommy" I cry into the other end

She panics down the phone asking me where I am and I can only reply I don't know as I truly don't know where May lives. She says she'll track my phone and be there in five

I sit down on the pavement tears pouring down my face, she's changed like really changed she would've never held a gun to my head before and oh the bruises on her body it was terrible

I hear a car pull up in front of me and I jump straight in not talking to anyone just letting what I've seen soak in to my confused brain

It looked like May minus her obvious red hair and she still sounded like May but she said her name was Elodie. I sob at the thought who the hell is Elodie

She's been so close to us and even Danes uncle all this time and no one could find her, that's what worries me the most someone went to such great lengths to hide her somewhere so obvious but hard to find at the same fucking time

I don't know how or who I'm gonna tell about this maybe just the littles they'd understand it better than the adults let alone her daddies if you could still call them that I don't know
