Today the twins and Aleks are being babysat by Danes aunt and uncle who strangely really wanted to watch the kids so now we're having a little day with Elodie and she's so excited
She's been bouncing around the house since the kids have been gone doing everything and nothing at the same time
"Daddy, daddy, daddy I want candy please" she calls repeatedly tugging on my shirt meaning she's already bugged Dane and he's said no
"Have you asked your dada baby" she pouts shaking her head yes "B-but dats nu fawr he's 'eing a meanie head"
"I wan candy nuw daddy wight nuw" she says crossing her arms
"If dada's already said no my love the answer is no"
She begins to pout tears coming out of her eyes as she stomps her feet throwing herself onto the floor as she kicks around.
Instead of helping her I decide to walk into the living room scrolling through channels on the tv landing on Venom
I get around half way through the movie when El comes in sniffling, her eyes bloodshot from all her crying and a slightly runny nose

She slowly walks over to me her head down, so using my two fingers I lift underneath her chin so she can look at me

She nods her head as more tears begin to appear in her doe eyes "C-cause I no wisten t-to daddy an I-I was bad and cwied a-an I so sowwy daddy"
I pull her onto my lap rocking her back and forth "Thank you for apologising baby but I have to punish you do you understand baby"
She nods her head murmuring a yes "You're going to spend 15 minutes in time out and it's no sweets until me or dada say"
She kisses my cheek "Yes daddy i be good girl and wisten"
She sits on her glittery blue stool facing the corner kicking her feet back and forth. She's so adorable, I hate to punish her but she needs to learn not to throw tantrums
Dane comes down the stairs from his shower looking extremely edible. "Where's the baby"
I signal over to her time out corner and he nods in acknowledgment "What happened this time"
"Told her she couldn't have any sweets" he laughs making me roll her eyes
"She's exactly like you Dane can't take no for an answer. Stop laughing"
He looks shocked at what I say muttering under his breath like an angry toddler. See what I mean he's where El gets it from and I fear for the kids in the future
Elodie's little princess timer finally dings and she jumps up excitedly "Aw done daddy"
"Thank you for being so good in timeout baby" she nods her head laying across both mine and Danes lap.
