The chief, who was standing at a podium with microphones coming at him from every direction, was surrounded by news reporters.

"Oh, my God, this is huge," Randy said as the group stopped behind a brick wall to watch.

Sidney gave Jacqui a stare of disbelief and confusion at the fact she didn't react. "Really?" Sidney asked. Jacqui gave her a confused look in return. "You're not gonna make an inappropriate joke about that? Even a chuckle?"

Jacqui shrugged. "Yeah, old Jacqui would, but I'm a more better and smarter version of that Jacqui," the others all exchanged looks like they weren't buying it. "I'm more mature now."

"Do you have any suspects?" Jacqui heard the familiar voice ask the sheriff.

Jacqui excitedly laughed and clapped her hands, like a child. "Oh, yay! Gale is back!" She could not have a wider smile on her face as she leaned her hands on the rock wall right next to where Laurie sat.

Randy turned to get Sidney's attention. "Sidney, look. It's Gale Weathers."

"What?" Sidney asked, walking over to see.

"Star of the Gale Weathers' press conference," Randy said, shaking his head a little and looking back and forth at the camera Mickey was holding. "Based on the book by Gale Weathers. Soon to be a major motion picture starring Gale Weathers."

"Why are you talking like she isn't famous?" Jacqui questioned.

"He's recapping for the rest of us," Laurie said, her knees now tucked up to her chest. "Not everyone is gay for Jan Weathers."

"Her name's Gale." Jacqui corrected with a glare, Randy giving her a weird look since she didn't object to Laurie's comment.

"Be kind," Sidney said. "She saved our lives."

"Holy shit, I wanna be her so bad!" Jacqui whined in awe, suddenly gasping and straightening up. "She got calf implants, she got calf implants!"

"I'm gonna go get a closer look." Randy said before walking off.

"Yeah yeah, do what you want." Jacqui waved off without turning her head.

"Well, she's a fan," Derek remarked as Jacqui continued to stare.

"Yeah," Sidney nodded with a small smirk.

Laurie turned around to say something but her eyes widened at the sight of a group of girls in pastel strutting over. "Oh no, here comes the whores!" She lightly exclaimed.

"Don't call them that, Laurie." Jacqui said in a scolding manner, not looking away from Gale. "The more respectful word is 'sluts.'"

"It's definitely not." Hallie replied.

Everyone else looked to see as the group got close enough to talk. "Hello, girls. Enjoying yourselves?" The blonde one asked.

"Oh, hello, Sister Lois," Hallie said, putting a smile on her face. "Sister Murphy." The way she called them 'sister' got Jacqui's attention, who gave them all confused and weirded-out looks.

"Hello, pledge," Murphy said. "Hi, Sidney."

"Hey," Sidney slightly smiled.

"This must be flat-out hell for you, how are you holding up?" Lois asked.

"I manage," Sidney replied.

It was weird for Jacqui, she also survived Woodsboro and was moments away from death, yet since she was a mess unlike Sidney, and since Sidney was there for the monologue and the main target of the attacks, it was always about her.
