"There'll be other movies, Roman." Milton told Roman as he stood in his office, Jacqui next to the director while rolling a blunt in her hands.
"Not only did they— did they kill my film, but they killed my cast." Roman rambled, walking back and forth. "Now nobody's gonna wanna work with me. Variety called me a pariah. I don't even know what a pariah is. Wh-Why couldn't someone have killed the cast from Stab 1? Huh? Or Stab 2? Why me? What— John, what did we do wrong?"
"Hollywood is full of criminals whose careers are flourishing."
"I'm not a criminal! I was questioned."
"I see this as a win-win!" Jacqui called out, laughing a bit. "Either way, you end up famous. I mean, if you're innocent and live you'll have been proven innocent, but if you aren't then you'll die anyway, and if you're Ghostface you won't have to live through the consequences of your actions, they all die before they have to." She lit the end of her blunt on fire and took a heavy inhale. ". . . At least I think they have."
"Really?" Milton asked in disbelief, looking at the blunt in Jacqui's hand.
"She's coping, leave her be." Roman bluntly said and she nodded.
"Yeah, I'm coping!" She defended.
"Whatever it is, can you avoid doing drugs in my office?" Milton asked.
"What are you gonna do about it, pervert?" Jacqui spat back.
Everyone's heads turned to the door as Jennifer was the first to barge into the office, Gale and Dewey following behind her. "Roman, Jacqui, John." Jennifer greeted in monotone.
"Jennifer, and guests. To what do I owe this honor?" Milton asked.
"Rina Reynolds," Gale said.
"Rina Reynolds?" Roman asked. "Who's Rina Reynolds?"
Jacqui and him briefly turned to one another. "Michigan." They both said before looking back to where they were.
"This Rina chick could be D-list, maybe that's why we don't know her." Jacqui took another huff from her blunt. "Also, now that I think about it, why is the beer in your house disgusting?"
"I spend more on champagne."
". . . Champagne?" She just stared at him for a moment. "Are you Angela Bassett?"
"Why don't you two head to the house?" Milton said to Roman and Jacqui. "Tell everybody not to cut the cake without me."
"Oh I forgot," Jennifer turned to Roman and smiled, uncrossing her arms. "Your birthday. Happy birthday, Roman."
"I didn't forget, I said it right when when the day started." Jacqui murmured before taking another huff. "Tell them, Roman."
"Yeah, you called me at twelve. I was sleeping." He sighed.
Jacqui chuckled. "Yeah, I'm the best. Yet again, happy thirtieth."
"Mhmm, yeah, as if life isn't tragic enough." Roman said while making his way toward the door of the office.
"I'll meet you at the house." Jacqui said. "Later, skater."
"Later." Roman nodded and shut the doors behind him.
"So, you knew Sidney Prescott's mother," Dewey began to Milton while Jennifer crossed her arms again.
"Who?" Milton asked, meanwhile, Jacqui made her way to a lounge chair in the room and plopped down.
"Rina Reynolds." Jennifer said.
"Ah," Milton says. "You know how many actors have worked for me? Hundreds. Thousands."
