Thistle woke up with a start, he was stiff from sleeping a night in the forest. He decided to bring Heather's body back to camp. He bit down hard on the scruff and dragged her over to the edge of the forest. He covered it with ferns and raced back to camp. Haybale stared in terror at the blood-stained cat with fur covered in mud and eyes crusted with sleep. "Haybale! I need help!" Haybale blinked in confusement until he realised the 'monster' was Thistle. Haybale stared, "What is it?!" Thistle replied urgently, "There's no time to waste! Follow me!" Haybale blinked and raced after Thistle. They came to the forest and Thistle said, "Look." Haybale looked. Haybale saw the body of Heather and said, "What happened?!" "It was a fox.." Thistle's eyes watered. Haybale blinked and picked up the body, Thistle helped. They brought it to camp and Fiona, their sister mewed in fear, "What happened?!" Haybale stood firm, "It was a fox who killed Heather. We shall remember and honour her. Fiona brought the body to her den and used herbs to clean the body. Thistle walked away, he felt so sad, but what is the 'Golden Pawprints' anyway?
