The next morning, everyone was called to gather at the basketball court. Karol sees me and immediately rushes to me.

"Guess who one of my roommates is?" She smiles

"I don't know, who" I say

"ALEX" She squeals

"SERIOUSLY?!" I say

"100%"

I'm not jealous. Well I am jealous but Karol has a boyfriend so it's not like they're going to hook up.

The principle goes to the front of the crowd with a microphone

"So pretty much what I'm here to say is that there will be no inappropriate behavior. As in no committing illegal crimes in our campus. And if one of you gets pregnant, that is not our fault, you guys are big kids and can handle it yourself. Anything that goes on here is not our responsibility. You should know this because there was a contract that needed to be signed. So basically what I'm saying is that there aren't many rules here, but just know that if anything bad happens it's not on us."

Someone raises their hand

"What are we supposed to do while were here?" Asks the student

"Anything you want" smiles principle Bowers "you can roam around the campus, go to your friends cabin. We really couldn't care less. You can even leave the campus as long as you go to the front desk and tell them that you're leaving and your time of arrival. But if you do not come back the said arrival time then you will not be permitted back in."

"IS THAT ALL" Screams another student

"That is all" smiles mrs. bowers

She leaves and forgets to turn her microphone off because I swear I heard her say "I hate my job". Maybe it was my imagination.

"Yay so we can pretty much still be together!" Karol says excitedly

"Yep! Hey did Ricky come?" I ask

Ricky is her boyfriend

"No" she pouts "but he promised to visit me"

We arrive at J-2 which is a lot farther than I expected. We're the first ones to arrive. It's exactly the same except its a different color. Each cabin letter has varying colors on the inside. Mine is purple and hers is red. They're all brown on the outside though.

A loud thud from the door snaps me back to reality. In comes Alex.

"Hey you're luna right?" He asks

"Yea" I answer "your Alex"

"That is correct" he says "are you staying here with us?"

"Oh uhh no I'm at D-8"

"Oh, that's a bummer" he winks

I'm not sure what that wink meant but I'm pretty sure it was a good thing. I haven't had much experience with boys.

"I don't think I have your number" he smiles handing me his phone

Without thinking I take his phone and put my number in. I hope my internal freaking out isn't showing.

"Here you go" I smile

Karol was so into her texting conversation with Ricky that she didn't even notice he was there.

"Oh hey Alex" she says

"hey, so have you found out who our other members are?"

"Nope" she answers

"I think we should adopt luna into our group" he says

Right as he says that in come the other two members of J-2.

Seriously? Great timing

"Guess not" I say

I don't recognize them. I don't really talk to many people other than my close group of friends. The girl is a redhead that looks a little familiar and and the other is a short and stubby guy. It's kind of sad that I don't know who these people are when we go to the same school.

"Well, I'm going to go to my cabin" I say "I still need to unpack"

"Nice meeting you" smirks Alex

But I was already out the door.
