The next day, it was the weekend and it was chill out time for Aurora. She was sitting on the couch between Scott and Stiles, drawing on her iPad with her Apple Pencil, while the two boys watched football on the tv. Noah had already gone for his shift that morning and would he be back that afternoon. He only did morning shift at the police station on weekends so he could spend time with his kids. Ever since his wife died, he wanted to spend more time with his kids and make sure that he was involved in their lives. It also helped whenever Melissa McCall, Scott's mom, came around and helped with dinner or just sitting with the teenagers whenever Noah had late nights. Of course, it meant the world to the kids now that they were best friends with Scott ever since they were in diapers and now that Aurora and Scott were together. Aurora let out a bored groan and stretched over the couch, her back leaning over Scott's arm that rested behind her. Scott turned to his girlfriend and said, concerned, "You okay, Rory?" Aurora sighed and replied, "Yeah, just bored. I'm gonna snoop around the house, wanna come with me?" Scott smiled and said, "Yeah. Coming, Stiles?" Stiles nodded and replied, "Yeah, in a second." Scott and Aurora stood up and held each other's hands, lacing them, as they walked around the house. Soon after when the game had ended, Stiles decided to join his sister and best friend. He found himself in his dad's office where Scott and Aurora had ended up. Stiles lingered in the doorway and said, "I don't think we should be going through Dad's work stuff, guys. I mean, some of this stuff is police property." Aurora scoffed and replied, as she sat in her father's desk chair, "We won't touch anything, Stiles. If we do, we'll put it back exactly the way it was." However, little did she know was that her next move would change her life forever. Aurora opened the right bottom drawer and found files folders in them with labels. One label in particular had her name on it, grabbing her curiosity. Scott had noticed his girlfriend's silence and said, concerned, "Everything okay, Rory?" When she didn't answer, both Scott and Stiles were concerned. They walked over to the girl and saw why she sat frozen.

In the folder that had Aurora's name written on it, it held adoption papers and pictures along with her birth certificate. Stiles placed his hand on his mouth and whispered, "Oh, my God........." Scott's eyes widened at the revelation and said, kneeling down next to his girlfriend, "Aurora, you okay? Rory? Talk to me, baby." Aurora felt tears sting her eyes and replied, "Why would Dad keep this from me?" Scott instantly took his girlfriend into his arms, rubbing her shoulders comforting her. Soon, the betrayal was replaced with anger and determination. Aurora wanted to know why her father kept this secret from her, and Stiles included. She turned to Stiles, pulling away from her boyfriend, and said, "You didn't know anything about this, did you, Stiles?" Stiles shook his head vigorously and replied, "No, this is new to you as much as it is to me. Dad and Mom never told me anything." Aurora growled to herself and said, standing to leave, "I'm gonna confront Dad about this." She then rushed out of the room and towards the front of the house, where Nala waited for her. She didn't want her mistress to be alone after feeling her distressed mood. Aurora put Nala's leash on her collar and grabbed her bike, knowing that Nala would follow her without a problem. Behind her, Stiles, Scott, and Shadow rushed to follow her. Before they got into Scott's car, Stiles put Shadow's leash on him to keep him from running off. With Aurora, she rode her bike towards her dad's police station as fast she could. When she got there, the teenaged girl put her bike in park and checked on her dog for a second then walked in, frantically looking for her dad. Deputy Parrish came up to her after noticing her distressed look and said, "Hey, Aurora? What are you doing here? Everything okay?" Aurora turned to her dad's deputy and replied, "Deputy Parrish? Do you know where my dad is? Is he here? I need to talk to him, it's important." Deputy Parrish gave the girl a warm smile and said, "He's in a meeting, kiddo, but if you want to wait in his office, I'm sure that he'll be able to talk to you." Aurora didn't even hear the last part since she and Nala were already running to the conference room. Deputy Parrish's eyes widened and said, running after the teenager, "Hey!! Aurora!! Whoa!" The officers in the building turned to see their deputy chasing after their sheriff's daughter. By the time this was going on, Stiles, Scott, and Shadow had arrived and raced after Aurora.
