Canon!!!!

((Notme's pov))

Why me?! Why do I have to be the one who gets bullied?! Why?!

"Idiot, NASA would never accept someone like you!" One of the three bullies shouted. I was crying on the ground as they all insulted me for no reason. All I wanted was to be an astronaut, why weren't more people supportive of me?!

"Oi!" I heard a familiar voice shout. All of us looked over to the sound, it was my best friend coming to defend me. His glare alone was enough to scare the kids away. I shakily stood up, stumbling over on my bruised legs to Detective. "Why do you always get yourself into these situations?" He asked.

"I don't try to, one second I'm walking to class, the next I'm being beaten up or shoved in a locker!" I exclaimed in frustration.

"Cmon, let's just go to math. I know you like that class." He said comfortingly.

"Heh, you know me too well."

"Alright, class. Today we're doing several step problems!"

The entire class groaned, except for me. The teacher wrote a very hard looking problem on the board. It had lots of parentheses, signs, and mixed numbers.

"Do any of you-"

"It's 21 5/16." I blurted out. The rest of the class looked at me in shock. "What?" I inquired.

"You were able to solve it that quick?" The teacher inquired. I was kind of confused, until I remembered that everyone thought I was stupid. After all, I could barely remember what 7+2 was.

The next class, Spanish, almost the same thing happened. The teacher asked us to translate a long phrase into Spanish.

"el rápido zorro marrón saltó sobre el perro perezoso" I said almost instantly. My pronunciation was spot on, the teacher looked incredibly amazed. Even he thought I couldn't speak a single word of Spanish, let alone translate a full phrase!

Even later in the day, I was able to answer several obscure questions about space, and everyone started getting suspicious of me. I was called into the principal's office, where she asked me several really difficult riddles, which I somehow got in a matter of seconds. She was almost sure I was cheating, so she called my mom in.

"What did he do?" My mother asked.

"He answered every question in all classes perfectly, and we are suspicious he is cheating."

My mom sighed, telling me to leave the room and to not eavesdrop.

((Charlotte's pov))

"Look, miss buren. He's not like the others. There's something I've really been wanting to get off my chest, but I don't think he's ready to hear." I said. "His father was an alien."

"What?!?" She shouted.

"I know it sounds crazy but it's true! He was the king of aliens, in fact, but his people killed him for marrying me! They said that crewmates and imposters shouldn't mix..." I was nearly crying when I remembered Bluee. The most incredible man I've ever met, so open and honest.

"Nolan is the halfbreed the aliens are after. So I never told him so he would have a chance at being normal... guess that backfired... because he's not."

"What does that have to do with him getting answers correct?"

"The type of alien he is learns faster than a human. But he's only half alien, so he doesn't learn at an even rate. He's really good at complex problems and puzzles, but terrible at simple ones." I explained. "I know this is a bombshell that changes everything, but, I don't know if I should tell him."

...should I?
