(Headcanon: Nyla and Notme have to wear their onesie and crown respectively, or their powers go out of control)(Nyla's powers are so destructive that taking her hood off will cause natural disasters.)

(Also I've never read the school for good and evil, I just got info from a friend and watched the movie)

((Nyla's pov))

I hated stereotypes. I just despise them.

The school for good and evil did not understand how my powers worked. I was meant for battle, not sitting around in a castle.

Notme was the opposite. His powers were for healing, not fighting.

I was sitting with the girls at lunch, staring at my "prince". He wore a fancy blue prince's jacket, black bottoms, and a yellow sash draped across his chest. He did look like a prince, but certainly didn't feel like one.

A bunch of kids from the school for evil walked up to him, and started picking on him. one of the boys snatched his crown off his head, and that was the final straw.

He held his hands over his ears, crying to make the noise stop. The cafeteria started shaking and water began bursting through holes in the walls. Wind swirled in a hurricane formation, making everyone panic. I ran to his side, punching the kid who took his crown in the first place. I placed the crown back on Notme's head.

The wind died down, and the bursting water slowed to a drip. He was still holding his head and crying.

"It's too much..." he whimpered. I knew when his crown was removed, he could hear everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, around him. Every single thought. Every tiny movement. And it was the most overwhelming feeling that could ever exist.

"Hey, it's ok. It's over." I comforted him. I hugged him tightly.

I let go and turned to the ones who bullied him.

"Do you know what you just did?!" I shouted. I prepared a thunderbolt in my hand. I was about to throw it, when Notme stopped me.

"Nyla, we're not allowed to kill anyone until we graduate!" He exclaimed. I sighed and put the bolt away. I pointed at the kids.

"Do that to my boyfriend again, and I'll make my face the last you'll ever see." My eyes flashed white, scaring them away.

Later in class, I was not paying any attention to the lesson. Instead I was staring out the window. The princes were sparing in the fields.

"Nyla senora, what is so interesting out there?!" The teacher snapped. I turned to her.

"I'm not built for being a princess. I don't want to be a damsel in distress, I want to be a knight in shining armor!"

"Well, girls don't get to learn sword fighting. So-"

I jumped out the window, commanding the winds to blow me towards the field. I landed in the bushes, before sneaking up on the lesson.

"Why did I have to go against the best student in the class?!" A kid said after he lost. I chuckled.

"Mind if I give it a go?" I said with a sly smirk. They all turned and laughed at me, but then stopped as I picked up a sword.

"Oh she's serious." Someone in the crowd whispered.

I readied my battle stance, waiting for the opponent to strike. He charged, but I quickly ducked and jabbed under his guard. It pierced his armor, and he clutched his side. He attempted to slice at me, but I twirled around the blade. I stomped, commanding the grass to grow around him, tangling him in the roots. He dropped his sword in shock. The vines wrapped around him until he could barely move.

I walked up to the helpless knight, and flicked his forehead mockingly.

"You're the 'Best student in the class', huh? The class average is probably super low then!" I taunted him. He growled, upset he just lost to a girl.

"Nyla, that was amazing!" I heard Notme exclaim. It was the happiest I've heard him since we got here.

He ran up and hugged me. I hugged back.

My teacher had chased after me, and looked like she couldn't decide whether to be mad or impressed.

"Where did you learn to fight like that?!" The swordsman teacher asked. I shrugged with a smirk.

"I kept telling you guys I was built for battle!"

The teacher sighed. "If you really want to swap roles with your current knight," she gestured to Notme, "you'll both go through a test. Nyla, you will have to save Notme from a powerful, fire breathing dragon." she explained. "You have 1 week to study. You will need your own sword as well, not the school's."

"That's fine, I was just using the school's sword so it'd be more fair." I said. "My actual sword is in my dorm. It used to belong to my father."

Dimona was a very powerful sword, made of lightning diamonds. I was confident I could do this, but I did have a last resort plan.

*1 week later.*

I arrived on my horse at the cave where the dragon resided. It was quite far from the school. I jumped off my horse, and walked in, my stride filled with determination.

I saw Notme dangling over a glowing pit, filled with what I could only assume was lava. In front of him was a massive red dragon, with multicolored crystals as horns. I learned from my studying that the crystals changed colors depending on the attack he would use next.

The dragon roared, so I pulled out Dimona. The sword crackled with power. The dragon swung its claws at me, which I dodged easily. I jumped and attacked its neck, chopping it off. Just as I thought that it was over, I jinxed it.

Three heads grew from the spot the previous neck was. The hydra's horns turned red, and launched three beams of fire at me. I was expecting it, so I commanded the ground to rise as a shield. The rocks started crumbling, the wall didn't last long. I was launched back into a wall, burned all over. The dragon's three heads all changed their horn colors, green, red and yellow.

The first head sprayed acid all over me. It burned like crazy. The yellow breathed lightning, electrocuting me. Notme was screaming my name.

I felt like I was done for. Then I remembered my plan.

I struggled to raise my arm, and I did the unthinkable.

I took off my hood.

I screamed in agony. I stumbled to my feet. A glowing yellow aura radiated from me. I started to float until I was above the dragon.

The dragon attacked with all three heads, but I materialized a force field around me. The attacks didn't even touch me. My hair swirled in the forming hurricane. I channeled all my energy into my sword, pointing it at the dragon. The gathered energy released, firing a beam of every element at it. The dragon let out one last roar before the cavern imploded. I grabbed Notme and got out of there so fast I pretty much teleported.

I floated to the ground, setting him down. I put my hood back on.

All my energy left me, making me faceplant. I layed there for a second, before only managing to see the entire school running towards me before I passed out from exhaustion.

When I awoke, Notme and the principal were waiting for me. I barely managed to sit up.

Notme was the first to speak.

"NYLA!!!" He screamed. "NEVER SCARE ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!! YOU WERE OUT FOR 5 DAYS!!!"

I blinked. Then the principal spoke up.

"Well get ready, you have a ceremony to attend."

I was knighted that day.

"Everyone, welcome Nyla senora, our first female Knight!"

Everyone cheered. And that was the best day of my life.
