(Amy's pov)

"Cmon, just notice me!" I exclaimed. But he didn't. I did everything I could to get his attention, spelling 'hi!' on his notebook with a cute drawing of a ghost next to it, changing the tv channels to a ghost movie, making the lights flicker, but nothing worked. He was just interested in his girlfriend. I sighed as he walked towards the door to greet her. I guess a girl with a beating heart beats a girl buried in the backyard.

I watched in agony as Red talked to a girl named Yellow. I sobbed. That sobbing turned to tears. Then the tears became wailing. I couldn't take it anymore. I screamed and cried out, but they couldn't hear. I used several household items to spell 'dump her!' on the floor, but he was too busy kissing her to notice. Then he walked out of the house.

I floated back to the attic, sitting on the boxes that I used as a bed. I tried to collect my thoughts, but then all I could think about was how I died.

I was buried alive.

I starved in that coffin in the backyard, and no one even noticed I was gone. And now I was invisible, literally. No one could see me, no one could hear me... but I never gave up on love. I would not rest until I found love.

After several months, I found it.

Red's dog had died. Yellow was comforting him through it. I was sad to see him so upset, but then I felt something rubbing against my ghost tail. I looked down to see a fellow ghost, but it wasn't a human ghost. It was Red's dog. I floated down to him. He barked happily and I teared up.

"Hi buddy."

"Hi!" he replied, knowing I could understand other ghosts. I pet his head.

"I've been waiting for love for a long time." I said sorrowfully. "I said I wouldnt rest until i found it."

"So are you ready to move on?" he said, panting happily. I nodded, grabbing him and floating upwards to the afterlife.

It wasn't the type of love I was looking for, but it was love regardless.
