FYI, Herobrine's new name is Hiro

Takes place when Nyla disappears and is brought to the creator universe.

((Hiro’s pov))

I sat on a small beach, staring at the water. I couldn’t believe what I had just read.

A letter from Nyla.

She excitedly wrote about how she had a new family in another universe, including a brother named Notme. The letter sounded so happy, and I could tell she didn’t plan on returning.
I was glad she was happy and safe, but I also grieved at the loss. My heart broke when I learned she didn’t want to come back.

A rustle in the bushes caught my attention, someone was watching me.

“If you’re going to attack me, get it over with. I’m too tired to fight right now.”
“Aw man! It’s no fun when you put it like that!”
Entity emerged from the foliage, with a slightly annoyed expression. His hood was down, and his cape was flowing down to his ankles.

“What’s got you so down that you don’t want to fight?” Entity asked.
I sniffled, then simply handed him the letter. He read it slowly, occasionally glancing at me with pity in his eyes.
“So… your girlfriend doesn’t want to come back?” He said after a while. I silently nodded.

He sat next to me with a sigh.
“I know how that feels,” he said. “I’m sorry.”

I lightly chuckled. “Never heard you say sorry before.”
“Oi! I do say sorry!” He exclaimed, slightly amused.
“Uh huh,  like you apologize after you’ve burned down entire villages.”
He playfully hit my shoulder.

A few tears leaked down my face. I couldn’t help but sob.
Entity noticed, awkwardly wrapping his arm around me. I leaned into the hug, and before long I was bawling on his shoulder.

He sighed.
“Y’know, as much as I like being evil, seeing you cry kinda breaks my heart.” He admitted. “I never thought I’d see someone as brave as you be so willing to look weak.” He sniffled a little, obviously trying not to cry.

It was a long silence before Entity spoke again.
“you remind me of Null…”
I looked up at him with confusion.

“Who’s Null?” I asked curiously.

A single tear rolled down his cheek.
“My best friend… but I wanted to be more than that with him…” he said. “Hardames hated him… he mind controlled me… and forced me to kill the only person I cared about…” he was crying as he spoke.

“You… killed your own best friend?” I inquired. He started sobbing uncontrollably.
“I loved him! He was the only thing that kept me sane! I want him back so bad!” He yelled. I gently wrapped my wing around him, calming him down. “I didn’t even get to tell him…”

I stayed silent to give him some time to ground himself. After a while he stopped crying, and looked blankly at the sea in front of us.

“Now that Nyla’s gone… I guess I can tell you what I wanted to tell Null…I,” Entity took a deep breath, “like you.”

I was shocked into a state of panic.
I immediately hugged him, all my emotions pouring out my mouth in the form of tears and babbles of “I love you too!”

The letter layed in the sand, forgotten. I didn’t need it anymore.
I had a new joy.
In Entity.
