"Toji... I-what-I cant-" you stutter over your words as you look at him.
It's been 10 years since you've seen him. He puts down his drink and tries to hug you. You let him hug you but you don't react. His hug was so warm and so calm. He backs away.
You look up and say, "Its been so long Toji.. I really don't know how to react to all of this.. I think I need to go.."
You get up and he grabs your wrist. "(Y/n) at least get my number down, I know how you are."
He really does. You haven't really changed since the last time you guys have seen each other. Maybe your haircut is different, it's long still but layered. You turn around and you start to wobble a little.
"Fuck, I guess the drinks are getting to me," you say as you laugh.
Toji tries to hold you steady and sits you down. He starts to write down his number. You look at him as he is doing it. I can't believe he's here, you thought. He looks so calm.. so nice.. his eyes. I've missed them.. He starts to hand you his napkin he wrote his number on and he looks back at you. You look away and take the napkin. You leave with an instant. Toji doesn't come after you. He can't. He just watches.
You get back to your house and throw your purse on the couch. With Toji's number still in your hand you can't help but look at it.
"I can't deal with this tonight." You say to yourself.
You walk back to your bedroom and get undressed. As you get undressed your phone lights up with a text from Shoko.
"I saw you with that guy tonight, but why is he still at the bar and not you? Anyways I gave him your number, so if a strange number text you, it's that cute ass. I hope you had a good night babe and I'm so glad you came out!"
You feel your face start to burn up as you finish reading the text. You really can't believe this. You can't be mad at Shoko though cause she didn't know. You only have told her bits and pieces about Toji. She never got a name or a picture of him. You put the paper on the night stand next to you. How is he back? You thought while laying on your back. For the rest of the night, you think about Toji until you drifted off to sleep.
"Hey slow down (Y/n), we are in an airport and I can't afford to lose you."
"Toji, you could never lose me, lets go," you grab his hand and he follows behind. As you guys run through the crowd of people, you feel his hand let go. You turn around to find he's not there. You panic and yell out his name. He's gone. You run to your gate and look around. He's no where.
"It's not fair, why do you always leave me?!"
You awake in panic and sweat with knocks at the door. You check your phone and see you have 20 missed calls from Shoko, only guessing thats her at the door. It's 7am. Then you look at the number beside it. You sigh. You get out of bed and head to the front door. You look through the peephole and open the door.
"Let me guess, you went to Geto's again?" you say while letting her in.
She looks rough and looks like she has been crying all night.
"Why do you do this to yourself Shoko?"
She looks at me and says, "Because I love him."
You really felt sorry for her. You gave her a hug and guided her to your room.
"Sleep it off sweetie," you say softly as you tuck her in bed.
You make a cup of coffee and sit at your table. You have a cute little house. 2 bed, 1 bath, spacious living room and kitchen. You had grabbed the napkin from your night stand and you want call it but... You sigh harder and take a sip of your coffee.
