Starting Over (TojixReader)

This Part Hurts

Gojo gathers the kids and he lets Megumi know that you have to meet daddy at work. Which is the truth. Why would Shoko be with Toji? You walk over to Gojo's car and you give Megumi a kiss on the cheek. "You be good, I'm going to see what daddy is up too, I love you Gumi." He tells you that he loves you too and you close the back door of the car. Gojo opens the passenger window and says, "Don't worry about us, I will make sure no one drowns!" You make a face at him and respond, "Not funny. Please be safe and keep my child safe. He doesn't know how to swim yet." "Your child?" Gojo asked sarcastically and that pissed you off more. "Seriously? I don't think that's funny either." You sigh and walk off. While you walk off, you try to phone Toji one more time but once again, no answer.

Toji is sitting in his office with Geto. There is some awkwardness in the air but Toji doesn't really let it get to him. "So what investments were you looking into?" He asked while leaning back in his chair. Geto looks down and says, "Any that have high buyers. I really need to get back out there. Ya know me and Shoko are thinking of having a baby." Toji raises his eyebrows. He didn't expect that. "Really? I mean, they are a lot of work and responsibility. I have one of my own and-" Geto Interrupts.  "Yeah I know, he's a cute kid. (Y/n) talks about him any chance she gets when she talked to Shoko... I really don't know what's going on with them. I mean I know Shoko was in the wrong bu-" " She was in the wrong." Toji interrupts back. "I understand what she wants for her friend but she has herself to worry about, ya know with everything going on." Toji's tone changed. It was more demanding and defensive. Geto looks up and looks at Toji for the first time. Toji smirked. "Finally, you look me in the eye, were you scared before?" He chuckled. Geto wrinkled his eyebrowns at Toji. "You really wanna know?" As they start to get up to walk towards each other, you finally make it into Toji's office. 

"What the fuck is going on?" You say as you're opening the doors. You were out of breath from sprinting to his office. This was not what you were expecting. "Did I just stop a fucking fight?" Toji looks over at me and says, "Hey baby, what are you doing here?" He is completely oblivious at what's going on. You continue to look at the situation at hand. "Why is Geto here? And were you about to fight him?" You asked. You were really pissed. "I literally been calling all morning and this what you been doing? Megumi tried calling by the way." He looks back at Geto and shakes his head. "We will finish this up another day. Soon." He tells Geto. "Yeah, it seems like you have other things to worry about." Geto says and he walks out. You watch him and roll your eyes as you turn back to Toji. 

"Why weren't you answering my calls, Toji?" you asked calmly. You didn't want to fight with him considering the current state he's in. He turns to you but looks up and puts his hands in his pockets. "You know he finally looked me in the eye, but it wasn't for the reason that was being talked about. For some reason he asked me if I really wanted to know? But know what? About what? Does it contain you?" He asked infuriated. You look down. You can't lie to him again. Before you know it, Geto is gonna eventually tell him. You don't understand why but, it's gonna destroy both of you when you decide to talk about it. That time is now. "Where's my son? He's suppose to be with you. What the fuck (Y/n)?" You look at him and say gravely, "He's having fun with his friends without us. Without me. Cause YOU didn't want to answer your phone." 

Everything gets quiet. Toji seems to calm down but is still wanting to know what Geto was talking about. "So what was he talking about?" He asked while sitting back in his chair. You sigh. "Well, I-you know.. after everything happened between us.. He kinda saved me..  I guess. We became really good friends." He interrupts, "How good?" You roll your eyes while your looking down and answer, "Good enough to fuck him." He's speechless. You look up at him. "I never fell in love with him but he fucked me good while you gone. Until the drugs kicked in, I got bored and he lost his way. I left and that was it." You continue to look at him in the eyes. He can't hold the stare. "You fucked him? How long after did you wait?" He looks down. As he shakes his head he rubs his hands together. "Don't worry, it was a while after you left me." You say to him. He can't believe it. "So you lied to me?" He feels so terrible. "No Toji, I never lied to you." You tell him. "Why didn't you wanna tell me about this?" You can't answer that, That time with Geto was like a dream. He was so different. You never fell in love with him but you almost did. "Can you go and pick up Megumi for me? I think we are gonna wanna be alone for a while." 

You get to your car and you start to cry. You're crying so hard. It starts to make you mad. You punch at the steering wheel. "FUUUUCK!!" You scream. Everything that just happened, just made all your future plans with Toji go straight out the window. Before you know it, you get to the water park. You call Gojo and tell him that you're coming to pick up Megumi. Megumi comes running out a few minutes later. "My baby! I've missed you!! How was it?" You asked him while picking him up. "So fun, there was this slide that was so big and I went down it! I was so scare but it was so fun! Can you come the next time?" You smile at him and say, "Of course baby." As You get him in the car seat you hear Gojo calling your name. "I got a call from Shoko. They almost fought?" You look at him and just roll your eyes. "Who almost fight?" Megumi asked. "No one sweetie. We are gonna go see daddy okay?" As you start to drive back over to Toji's job you start to talk to Megumi. "Baby, things are gonna be a little different after today. I won't see you as often, okay?" Megumi looks confused. "Why? I don't want you to leave." He asked softly. You look at him through the rear view mirror and say, "Don't worry baby, it won't for long I hope. I'll see you when I come to Uncle Gojo's." "If dad would even let me.." He says quietly.
