The Reckless and the Brave

*Dekoda's POV*

"Dekoda!" I heard a voice call me from downstairs. "Dekoda come down here for a sec!" Alex yelled up the stairs, his voice faint over the sound of 'Hold on Till May' playing through my speakers.

I got off my bed and stumbled down the stairs. As I turned the corner, Alex and Jack both came into my view. My brain froze for a split second at the sight of Jack. It was weird to think that my older brother, Alex Gaskarth, was the lead singer of All Time Low.

But it was also perfect, because my crush of 3 years, Jack Barakat, was also in the band.

"Dekoda?" Alex snapped his fingers in front of my face, breaking me from my haze. "What's up?" I asked curiously. "I know it's a lot to ask, and you're really busy, but-" "Wanna be our merch girl?" Jack cut in excitedly, flashing me goofy, brilliant grin.
