*Jack's POV*

I heard Alex laugh after Kayak had made her remark about Dekoda and I using protection. I opened the passenger side door of my black Chrysler for Dekoda, receiving a cute smile.

"Where are we going?" Dekoda asked in excitement. "You'll see" I replied slyly. She turned on the radio, flipping through the stations until it landed on Thrift Shop. Before I could say anything, her window was rolled down and the speakers were turned up.

There was a point were she stuck her head out the window and started screaming the lyrics to random people on the side walk, causing me to almost crash my car. When we came to our destination, I parked the car and ran around to the other side to open the door for Dekoda.

She hopped out of the car, and her jaw dropped as she took in her surroundings. Beyond the parking lot was a field of green grass with a pond off in the distance. There were cherry blossom trees placed randomly around the park, along with benches and picnic tables.

"Wow" was all she said. I smiled and went around to the back of the car, getting my guitar and a blanket out of the trunk. I walked back to her and we started walking through the field, as far away from everyone else as we could get. We finally stopped underneath a tree that provided enough shade to sit underneath.

"Today, I, Jack Barakat am going to teach you, Dekoda Gaskarth, how to play guitar" I announced to her proudly. Dekoda began to laugh so hard that tears streamed down her face. "Who says I don't already know how?" She got out between little giggles.

I looked at her, realizing that I wasn't prepared for this situation. "No way."

She reached for the guitar. "Yes way"

As she positioned the guitar into a comfortable position and played a few notes, my eyes wandered up her thighs. My gaze landed on a cat tattoo on her right leg. Without thinking, I reached over and touched it. Dekoda looked up in shock.

"Sorry, I just really like this" I said in awe. She smiled at me again. "I got those for my favorite cats. Loki and Finn" she explained, straightening her legs out for me to see. "We got them both at the same time. Finn was an old stray that I took in. He died after about two years. Loki got hit by a car" her voice cracked and a frown was plastered across her beautiful face.

"I'm sorry" I said, pulling her into a hug. "I know it's kind of stupid to be sad over cats, but they were my only friends for a while, except for Kayak" she said. "But anyway, I want to know more about you" she spoke over her own soft strumming of the guitar.

"Wanna play 20 questions?" I suggested. She nodded in agreement and launched into a series of different types of questions, including my favorite color, animal, ice cream, eye color, and a few other things. We sat for about two hours, talking about funny stories and life experiences.

"Oh, shit" I realized something. "We're leaving tomorrow and I still need to pack some stuff" I explained to Dekoda. "Do you wanna come with me to my house real quick?" I asked. She smiled and stood up, taking the guitar with her as I picked up the blanket.

We were at my house in a matter of minutes. "I'll be right back!" I went quickly to my room to pack my remaining stuff, eager to be fast so I wouldn't lose valuable time with Dekoda. When I finished, I walked back into the living room where she was sprawled out across the couch, watching The Walking Dead. "Move over Kodes, you're taking up the whole couch" I laughed, poking her thin leg.

"Make me" she said playfully. I picked her feet up off the couch and tossed them aside. "You're a meanie head" she whined, sticking her tongue out at me. "I try" I responded with an evil grin. We watched more TV, played video games, and talked more. Hours passed and it was starting to get dark outside. "Let's watch a movie" Dekoda said.

I put in Home Alone and grabbed a blanket. We sat right next to each other, our legs covered by the blanket. For the first time, I wasn't interested in the movie, and I knew Dekoda wasn't either. "So, the guy you were talking about yesterday..." The words trailed off her lips. "Do you think we make a good match?" She asked halfway through the movie.

'The best match ever" I answered quietly. She was silent for a long time. The movie ended and she looked at me. "Would he take care of me?" She sounded like a hopeful child. "He would never leave your side. He would never let you down. I would always-will always love you Dekoda. I'll always be there."

A smile slowly spread across her lips. I leaned in slowly, pressing my lips to hers softly, electricity shooting through my veins. I held her face in my hands, savoring each second. The taste of her lips was indescribable and left me wanting more.

She pulled away slowly and smiled with joy. "I've wanted that for so long" she whispered. I stood up and offered her a hand. She took it and held on as I put my luggage in the car and drove us home.

(A/N: Sorry that this chapter was so long! I know it was kind of all over the place, but I wanted to create some suspense. Also, I know there are probably some grammatical mistakes, but Im too lazy to fix them. Leave a comment on what you think!)
