A Daydream Away

*Jack's POV*

I watched Dekoda and Kayak leave, instantly feeling a little empty. It was a feeling I wasn't used to, and I didn't like it. Trying to fill the space, I turned to Alex.

"So, you and Kayak, huh?" I commented with a smirk. "Yeah" Alex responded with a grin. "You jealous?" He asked, leaning on the island in the middle of the kitchen. "Jealous of what?" I wondered out loud.

Alex looked at me quizzically. "Are you kidding? She's hot!"

"Not as hot as De-" I stopped, wondering if Alex would kick my ass if I told him about what happened with his little sister.

"Were you..did you just call my little sister hot?" Alex asked, his eyes narrowed. Shit.

"What if I did?" I questioned. Alex looked at me for a second, thinking. "I don't mind I guess. But if she feels the same way about you, and you hurt her, I'll rip you a new asshole" he warned. I laughed.

"I bet Dekoda feels the same way about you and Kayak!" I snorted in laugher. His face brightened at the mention of her name. "I could be so good to her.." He trailed off. You wouldn't think that guys like us could be so crazy about girls, but we were.

Weird right? I walked out into the living room and flopped down on the couch. "Video games?" I asked Alex, who came into the living room. He went to the TV and turned it on, then tossed me a controller. After turning on the counsel, he came and sat next to me.

It was about 1 in the morning when we got tired of yelling at each other and bickering. After a good 15 minutes of convincing, Alex gave in and we started watching home alone. We were about a half an hour in when we both fell asleep.
