Two days after Dim's arrest, Sarawat finally deemed Tine fit to return to work. Tine wanted to come back to work earlier, but he cowered under Sarawat's fierce glare. Tine didn't bother to leave Sarawat's studio for the past few days, and Sarawat didn't mind Tine staying. They couldn't get enough of one another. Tine couldn't stop kissing Sarawat whenever he could, and Sarawat wouldn't let Tine off too far away from him. At one point, Tine doubted his decision to not confess to Sarawat earlier. He could've indulged in these sweet gestures earlier if he had been more courageous.

The court prosecuted Dim, handing him imprisonment by death. They scheduled the penalty several weeks later. Green walked away as a free man. The latest addition to his rap sheet was mere insurance fraud. As a result, Green paid 6,000 Bahts as a fine. He was right, he could afford a Lamborghini. What were 6,000 Bahts to him? A street trade worth of cocaine, Tine supposed.

Tine sighed in helplessness. It seemed like his work to uphold the dignity of the Thai justice system was in vain. They had nothing against Green, so they had to settle for the second best option - to punish Dim - hoping to cripple Green's illegal business. Yet, Tine knew Green's business would continue to operate as usual, he would recruit new bloods to replace Dim and Pam in no time. Their effort to uphold justice was like herding cats.

"Stop pouting. I will kiss till you drop if you continue pouting."

Sarawat threatened Tine over the dining table. They had ordered takeaway from Sarawat's go to Chinese restaurant for dinner. Tine sulked as he played with his fried noodles. He had missed the opportunity to interrogate Dim, and he wasn't happy about it.

"Kiss me all you want. You won't stop me from sulking, anyway."

Sarawat put his spoon down and pulled Tine into his arms, their noses inches away.

"Last chance, stop pouting."

Tine pouted harder and Sarawat didn't hesitate to capture Tine's lips in a fluid motion. It was a kiss full of tongues and teeth clashing. Sarawat nibbled on Tine's lower lip aggressively, a silent reminder to Tine that he wasn't joking. Tine's spoon clicked against the plate as he dropped it. His fingers found the hem of Sarawat's clothes, and it was the toppling point. Sarawat rolled his tongue in Tine's mouth. He tasted every crook and sucked on Tine's soft tongue as if it was his favourite popsicle. Tine slid his palms from Sarawat's waist, along his torso, and bunched his fingers on Sarawat's shoulder. Tine let out a shaky breath as he left half-crescent marks on Sarawat's shoulder blades.

"Waaatttt..."

Tine's breathy moans were music to Sarawat's ears. Sarawat's lips travelled from Tine's lips down to his nape. He remembered this spot where...

"Ai'Wat!"

There. Sarawat left a love bite, as if he was marking Tine with his unique seal. Their dinner turned cold when they finally had the time to finish their food.

Tine nestled on Sarawat's chest as Sarawat caressed his hair. The soft touches were creating pressure point to Tine's scalp, inducing him into a sense of tranquillity. Abruptly, a question popped into Sarawat's mind. He wasn't sure if this was the right time to ask Tine this question.

"Tine? There's something, uhm..."

"Shoot!"

"Uhm... I think."

"Sarawat, stop fidgeting. Start talking."

"I was thinking..."

"Don't overdrive your brain."
