Tine clutched the sides of Sarawat's torso tightly as Sarawat removed his shirt and underwear gently. He was still too weak to stand by himself. Sarawat hissed uncontrollably as he peeled Tine's shirt carefully. The dried blood made everything seem a thousand times worse despite he knew Tine was, technically, safe and sound. Sarawat adjusted the shower to a comfortable temperature, not too cold for the weather, but warm enough to loosen Tine's stiff muscles. Tine whimpered in pain as Sarawat accidentally pressed into the edges of the bruise across his torso while applying shampoo to Tine's body.

"Sorry, Tine, just bear with me, one more second."

Sarawat didn't bother to remove his own clothes, Tine was more important than his clothes. It didn't matter if he would catch a cold in his wet clothes later. He slid his palms across Tine's body tenderly, being extra cautious as he cleaned the dried blood on the fully settled bruise across Tine's belly. Tine dug his fingers into Sarawat's shoulders as he felt pain bursting in his system. The rough edges of Sarawat's clothes rubbing against Tine's naked body were making Tine feel giddy from the core. It wasn't exactly comfortable, but Tine felt safe as Sarawat wrapped his muscular arms around Tine's pliant body.

"Shhh, Tine, you are safe now, no one will hurt you anymore. As long as you're with me, you'll be fine."

Sarawat murmured comfortingly into Tine's ears. Tine exhaled shakily as he struggled to form his thoughts, only to fail miserably, he was slowly drowning in Sarawat's homey scent. How could he ignore all the signs that were there to remind him about his ability to love again? Tine buried his face into Sarawat's shoulder blades, allowing hot tears to sprawl freely across his cheeks. He was so exhausted physically and mentally. Sarawat's eyes widened abruptly as he felt warmth seeping into the fabric of his clothes where Tine was resting his head, contrasting the chills from his wet clothes. Tine was crying, and Sarawat hated to see such a vulnerable Tine. Tine was such an amazing person, he deserved all the good things in life that were for him. He should've seen himself from Sarawat's eyes.

"Tine? Tine Teepakorn? Look at me, please?"

Sarawat begged pettily, the sting at the back of his eyes was growing in intensity as seconds passed. His heart broke for Tine. Under the running water, their tears were invisible. Yet, when Tine looked at Sarawat with his red-rimmed eyes, Sarawat's tears bloomed into sharp-edged crystals. Even with his dishevelled hair and tear-blotched cheeks, Tine still looked gorgeous. It was a different kind of gorgeous from the usual Tine. This time, Tine looked like a strong fighter who just wanted to return to where his heart belonged after enduring a long battle with his enemies. Sarawat moulded his limbs around Tine's body, resting Tine's full weight on himself. Tine sighed in relaxation as he melted into Sarawat's embrace.

"Can we just stay like this for a little longer?"

Tine whispered softly into Sarawat's ears. His last line of defence crumbling into the wreckage, Tine gave up on fighting against his feelings. Sarawat is the one for him, but is he the one for Sarawat?

"Of course, we can, as long as you feel better. That's all that matters."

Tine squeezed himself against Sarawat's warm body, not minding the physical pain that ripped him apart, he felt fuzzy inside.

"Tighter, Sarawat."

"But..."

"I said, hold me tighter."

Sarawat was his home.

"Do you have secrets kept somewhere?"

"Maybe, why?"

"Because knowing mine means death."

Earn rolled her eyes. The audacity of this guy. She started considering her decision of dismissing Sarawat from interrogating Dim. Sarawat was an annoying guy, but this Dim was way more annoying. Too annoying for someone who goes against the law all the time. She already felt like punching Dim in his face. Before she could open her mouth, Phuak pushed the door open, carrying a crime file with him.
