The opening begins with the first guitar riff, and shows Harui drawing a card from her deck and move it in front of her left eye. Her iris is pink, but after her card moves past it, it becomes cerulean.

With the second guitar riff, Naomitsu opens his eyes. As the camera moves away from him, he grins and begins to fade, leaving behind the black stars in his eyes.

The black stars explode, turning everything white, as the title "Cardfight!! Vanguard: Bujin" appears.

It's like humanity

Various locations begin to appear behind the title, the first being Heiwa's rooftop.

You gonna gaze into the abyss

The second location is a balcony, with an ash tray on the ground. Before the lyric ends, the third location, a greenhouse garden, appears.

They're seven deadly sins

The fourth location is a classroom in GEN Academy, which is quickly replaced by Nozomi's restaurant.

You feel alive when you step inside

The final location is an empty room with an open sliding door. As the door closes, the title disappears, leaving behind an empty throne in the center of the room.

Ashi o fumiireru Unknown area

The opening shifts to a classroom in Heiwa. Inside are Harui, who's sleeping during class; Yukie, who's seat is next to Harui's, is looking at her; Satoru, sitted behind the two, is eating cup noodles behind an open book; and Kikka, sitting at the back corner, is looking at the cloudy skies outside.

Kireigoto nara tou ni Break up

Moving to the rooftop, Harui, Yukie and Satoru are having lunch. Kikka is standing by the fence far from them to spare them from her secondhand smoke.

Hitotarashimeru tsumi

At Nozomi's restaurant, he finishes serving the gang their dishes and goes back behind the counter with a yawn.

Harui is stealing food from Kikka's bowl, who counters by grabbing Harui's nose with her chopsticks. Yukie's laughing at the situation and pinching Harui's cheek with her chopsticks, while Satoru is taking a page from Harui's book and snatching some of Kikka's food while she isn't looking.

Sore wa itsu datte tsukimatoun da Right?

As Nozomi sits down and picks up his book, he glances at his costumers and gets back to his reading with a small smile.

Inside the greenhouse garden behind Heiwa, Jiei waters the plants around him.

Okashitemo tsugi e

At some restaurant in Shibuya, Kiru one shots her third beer mug while Akafuyu reads a porno mag.

Me o sorasazu ni Atonement

At an abandoned warehouse, Michinaga lays in a couch watching some punks beat up each other.

Tada mae e mae e Go ahead

In a classroom at GEN Academy, Nozomi is talking to full classroom while writing on a blackboard. The point of view is that of the blackboard, showing the Nozomi's front, the entire classroom and class in the scene.

I gotta make it make it again

As Nozomi moves past the center of the classroom, it becomes empty and day turns to night. Akimitsu is sitting in the middle of the classroom.
