Changbins pov
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, I checked it. It was dad, I quickly answered "dad? Whats wrong , what happened?"
"Seungmin happened last night there was an incident, we're at the hospital, we have been all night. me and your mum need you to take care of your siblings okay? You're the oldest so please make sure they're all well behaved" dad said
"What? Sure I'll look after them but what happened to seungminnie?" I asked
"That's not a conversation for now, but when we get home we will tell you everything okay? Don't tell the others seungmins unwell, just tell them we took them out for a haircut or something alright?"
"Okay...you got it dad" I nodded
"Thank you, I'll see you later okay mogi?"
"Yeah, bye dad" I smiled then hung up
Minhos pov
I sat nervously holding the hand of the now conscious seungmin, they weren't looking at me, their dad or the doctor who was discussing their situation with us
"Has seungmin taken any illegal medicines or drugs?" Asked the doctor, me and chan shook our heads "well, he has taken something. A medicine that isn't illegal but dangerous when you drink it as much as he has"
"They, seungmin doesn't go by he him pronouns. They go by they them pronouns chan corrected the doctor bluntly, it was about the 10th time this doctor had been reminded "and what medicine has my child been taking?"
"Paracetamol" the doctor replied, me and chan looked at eachother wide eyed
"S-shit is my baby gonna be okay?" I held seungmins hand tighter
"Yes, we've done the blood tests as you well know and we did a couple tests when they stayed over last night, luckily their liver hasn't been damaged or their kidneys. However , we will send you home with a weeks worth of acetylcysteine injections which are short needles and it's simple you just have to inject their shoulder or upper arm." I nodded and the doctor handed chan the injections, there was six of them "they've already had one here at the hospital, and you should leave an ice pack on their arm 10 minutes before every injection which should be roughly 24 hours apart"
"Thanks doc, so we can go home now?" Chan asked hopefully
"Yes, just make sure not to give them any Paracetamol for the time being" he nodded
We thanked him and took seungmin out to the car, they sat in the back while chan drove- his hands clutching the wheel and his jaw clenched "you didn't think to tell us you were struggling?" Chan sighed out
"I...Im sorry dad...please...don't be mad at me.." Seungmin mumbled and looked down at their feet
"Bug...Im not angry, but you're a smart kid...you should've known that our family is going through alot right now and we are therapists! We can help you honey..." chan stopped the car in our driveway "okay, don't tell your siblings about everything just yet. Let them relax for five seconds poor kids can't catch a break..."
Seungmin teared up and shuffled out of the car then hugged chan tight "I'm sorry...." they wept into chans shirt, chan looked down at them and stroked their hair
"Dont cry, bug....it...its okay...we're here for you" chan picked them up then carried them in to the house, past all their siblings and to their room
"Mum? What's wrong with minnie?" Felix asked in a worried tone
"They...they just need a little down time with their dad okay? Don't disturb them for a little while" I smiled softly then sat between jisung and hyunjin on the couch, jisung laid his head down on my lap and hyunjin rested his head on my shoulder as we watched TV, soon enough all of them were cuddling up together on me, jeongin was cuddling up to jisungs chest, changbin was laying on Hyunjin and felix was sat at my feet on the carpet playing a video game on his phone
I smiled happily and stroked jeongins hair, my babies were so perfect and nothing could ever change that...I love them so much, they're a blessing.
