I slowly woke up in mom's arms, I looked up at him with a smile "mama...what are you doing here...I fell asleep with jisungie...now I wake up with you, are you a shapeshifter?"
Mom chuckled and shook his head gently stroking my hair "No, not a shapeshifter, but a concerned mother, yes. Jisung told me and your father what you were talking to him about....wanna talk about it?"
I cuddled up and shook my head "I've talked about it enough today"
Mom sighed softly "chick, you know we can't help if you don't open up...right?" He held me closer and I nodded my head "you don't need to go into great detail just...just know i love you more than anything, you and your siblings mean the world to me, and you mean the same to your dad. I know we can't really pay attention to you all at once, there are six of you after all...make it seven when kais around and thats all the time. If you don't feel secure enough, I'll try harder.. but..I love you, I can't stand the thought of leaving you, or you being hurt. We aren't gonna leave you, even if someone held us hostage as said...your cats or your son, I'd pick you...as much as I love my cats....you're my children...you're the most important thing to me"
"What about dad?' I asked
"Bangchan means alot to me, but if you and him were hanging off a cliff and I had one second to pick either of you from falling, I know your dad would kill me if I picked him over you, and if he had to pick you and me...if he picked me I'd literally murder him, that's what parents do...our babies before anyone else, understand?" Mom said with a smile on his face, kissing my forehead
"So...you and dad...would pick us over the love of your life...? So...you're not leaving? Not ever?" I curled up in his lap
"Not now, not ever, not till the day I die. You will always have me. Losing you is a fate worse than death for me...I'd rather be diagnosed with stage 4 cancer than lose you. I love you, felix, and I know you've been left behind and disappointed by so many adults in your life...but, I'm not gonna be one of them."
"Promise?" I mumbled
"Promise" he nodded, holding me close in his arms "my precious baby, we could never leave you, understand? I want this family to be eight, forever and always. Eight is fate okay?" He chuckled to himself and kissed his forehead "No matter what happens."
I smiled and snuggled closer "mama" I hummed, he nodded "i love you"
"That's super cool, cus...I love you more'
"No i love you more!" I protested
"Wrong, I love you more" he replied with a smile
"No me!"
"No, me"
"Nooo I love you more!"
"I'm your mom I love you more by default"
"You're mean!"

We sat in silence after the debate, just curled up in one and others arms. Why did I ever doubt them? Mom's fingers traced my arms, I smiled at the tingly feeling
"Mama, when I was a kid...and my parents were still around,they'd do these little nursery rhymes...where they also like tickled my back in a nice kinda way...have you ever heard of the "walking through the jungle x marks the spot" one?" I asked
"I'm familiar with it, would you like me to do it?" He replied , I nodded, and so his fingers skittered across my back while he did the rhyme and created this warm comforting feeling all throughout my body.
Suddenly, Hyunjin burst into the room, sweat on his face, and in his pjs "FELIX YOU WONT GUESS WHA- oh hi mom" he went a little sheepish and wiped the sweat from his face, he had several hickies on his neck...oh...my...God.
"What is it jiniret?" Mom asked out of curiosity

Why did he have to be in here now! I just wanted to talk to felix about how I literally got laid like 10 minutes ago I can't gossip about that with Mom in the room! I'm sweaty and my neck has purple splodges everywhere! God how do I avoid this...
"Oh, it's nothing really, just wanted to see lixie" I lied, well...kind of, I did wanna come talk to him but...not because I was missing him but because I had new tea and we always talked about drama together.
"Aww, my babies are so cute" mom smiled "has kai gone home?"
"No, hes asleep..." i said, that was true " he's a bit tired cus...we were lifting weights, hence the sweat...and why I changed into my pajamas" I tried to come up with a convincing enough lie.
"Ahhh I see, you trying to get buff like binnie?" Mom smiled "Well, I'll leave felix and you to catch up since you missed him so much, I've got dinner to make." He climbed out of bed and kissed felixs head "you two behave okay?" He chuckled and kissed my cheek before leaving the room, closing the door behind him.
I waited till hearing him go down the stairs before jumping into bed with lixie "dude, me and kai totally fucked!" I whisper yelled, he looked at me wide eyed
"No way!" He said "you don't have protection though..?"
"Nope, bro...I can't explain it...it was so fucking good, I can't wait for the Maldives man...it'll be like a little honey moon for us getting together"
"Please don't make the Maldives a sex holiday it's meant to be for the family, so family friendly!" Felix whined
"Please, I hate to say it but you think Mom and dad will keep it pg? No way, it's a holiday for relaxation as much as it is for family time, and trust me, I'm gonna be relaxed."
"Gross!"
"Which part?"
"The end bit and the Mom and dad bit!"
I burst into laughter and he slapped my arm "I'm gonna kill you Hwang Hyunjin!" He tackled me to the bed, ending up with us playfighting as well as throwing banter back and forth while giggling away
