As Lydia and stiles bicker with the sheriff about grandma Martin being the benefactor, Melina just leans against the desk not paying attention until she smells fuel and hears gunshots and so she runs out the door, towards the commotion.
But when the sheriff draws his gun he gets shot by a stray bullet as Parrish continues to beat up the deputy who attempted to assassinate him.

At Derek's loft they all discuss what had happened to Parrish and ask what he might be, but Melina sits in the back and watches parrish (checking him out)
"Then what is he?" Lydia
"Sorry but I have no idea" Derek
"But you knew about Jackson and Kira?" Scott
"This is a little out of my experience...what about you Melina, do you know what he might be" Derek
"Melina, melina? Melina!" Scott
"...huh?"
"What's Parrish?" Lydia
"...ummm extremely hot?"
"...Dear god" Derek replies, completely done with this girl, whereas Parrish just stutters
"Oh...oh! You mean species, well there are quite a few that could be immune to fire but I'll look into it for him..I mean you guys..Ill-uh look into it for you guys" she nervously chuckles
"There might be something in the bestiary, did you try argent?" Derek
"I don't know where he is" scott
"Ok, hold on what's a bestiary, actually that's not even my first question, just, are all of you like Lydia? Are you all psychic" Parrish asks
"Psychic?" Derek replies
"Not exactly" scott says
"Ok then what are you?"
Scott shows his alpha eyes

As Parrish continues to question everyone, they all theories on who could have the Deadpool
"But if Hank had it who else does? How easy is it to get this thing now?"
"That my handsome, handsome deputy is the million dollar question" Melina replies STILL checking Parrish out, just as everyone realises the seriousness of the situation.

Lydia continues to tell everyone how her grandmother would hear the banshees voices. And how her grandmother drew Meredith to insanity and Lydia drew her to suicide. And then they all left.

The scene cuts to Lydia, stiles and Melina tapeing the photo of Lydia's grandma and her lover to the crime board.

"Try Maddie, it's gotta be Maddie" Stiles says to Lydia as she continues to ask "isn't Maddie a little obvious"
But tries it anyways.
"Ok your name, she left the code for you right? Come on try your name (error) your mom's name (error) maybe try Melina (error)"
"Why would it be my name"
"Well you are her granddaughter aren't you?"
"Um no my mother was the product of a drunk one night stand between Lydia's grandfather and my grandmother Wanda who had just moved here from Russia"
"Wow really?"
"Yeah, why do you think me and Lydia are only half cousins..it's cause our mom's were only half sisters"
"Well ...do you have any beloved family pets?" Stiles asks
And Lydia and Melina just shake their heads.

"The ashes were left for you, the code was left for you, your supposed to figure this out" stiles said
"Well no one else is, which is making this harder"
Just then the printer beeps again and stiles goes to change the paper, aggravated then starts mumbling so Lydia asks "what?"
"Our guesses, they are all about loreine, right? Alright we keep try and guess a word that has something to do with her. So maybe we should be trying to guess one that's about you"
"Me? What about me?"
"What do you remember doing with your grandmother, y'know what your guys like, special thing? Did you guys go to the beach? Get ice-cream or read"
"We read"
"Okay what did you read"
"The little mermaid"
"You read that movie????"
"It was a book first" Melina justifys and Lydia points to her in thanks
"Hans Christian Anderson" Lydia continues with her point
"Type it in,little mermaid"
