Last night was terrible. Greyson made me hop out of his car and walk home. I don't want to loose my other friends, either. I need to make it seem that I don't like Greyson, so my new set of friends will still be cool with me.
I arrived at school, Turner and Erika glaring at me as I walked to my seat.
Greyson wasn't here again, shocker.
" Alright class, this is a free period, the grades for the assignments were astonishing. " Mr. Hanley sat down in his desk.
I quickly got up and sat next to Erika and Turner.
" Is this chick serious? Go away." Erika laughed.
" Look, I didn't invite Greyson, and Turner, you were right, he's a horrible jerk."
" Oh I am? Then tell me, when did you come to your senses?" Turner said, ready for my excuse.
" He ditched me, made me get in his car and then ditched me, making me walk home by myself."
" Oh, sorry. So your saying you didn't invite him?"
" Of course not!" I spoke.
" Alright. Were cool again." He smiled.
I smiled back. All of a sudden, Greyson walks into class and sits down.
He looked tired, and he didn't even look at me.
" Ugh, he's in class, and look, he has a busted lip and a swollen cheek." Erika spoke.
" Yeah, from me." Turner rolled his eyes.
" Turner, you could of went a little easier on him? I mean, he is a human being too."
Turner leaned close to me, and whispered,
" He's lucky my boys and I didn't hide his dead body." He leaned back, and took out his phone and began playing on it.
I sat back, counting the minutes we had until class ended.
" He left you like that? What a jerk! A psycho jerk!" Anna hollered to me, comforting me, even though I didn't care. I had to act like I did, I had to pretend to hate him and ignore him in front of them.
" Yeah, it was. I gotta go, my mom wants me home." I lied.
" Alright, bye."
I arrived home, shocked to see Greyson in my room.
" Greyson, hi." I spoke.
" What are you doing Liah?" He asked, sitting down on my bed.
" I can't have other friends? You know I want you, Grey."
" You can, just not them."
" I already made friends with them. Greyson, it can't be obvious, what your doing, what were doing. I'm making it so nobody knows, trust me."
I plopped down on my bed next to him, staring into his eyes. I haven't killed anyone, he has. Why do I feel just as guilty?
" Hah, your the good to me."
" What?"
" Your the good, the pure, by my side. I'm just, not. It's like were a yin-yang. We balance each other out. Maybe that's why were such a good pair."
" I guess so." I spoke softly.
Greyson wasn't perfect, and if we both wanted this to work, we were both going to have to give a little.
" Please, try to stay away from Turner, he's the one I don't want you hanging with the most."
Turner was the one I wanted to hang out with the most!
