Imagine being locked inside a room, the only thing you have is a metal, hard, chair to sit on. If you get off the chair, you'll fall into lava. you can't jump to safety, the walls are covered in spikes, the doors are jammed shut. What can you do? Nothing except sit in that metal chair and wait for the lava to swallow it whole, along with you. Greyson is my metal chair, and everythimg else is what will happen if I get off that chair. But sooner or later that chair won't be there anymore.
I sat down and breathed heavily. I need to hangout with Anna more. Shes the only friend that Greyson will let me hang out with.
I grabbed my phone and dialed Anna's number. No respond. Maybe I'll just walk there, its only a mile away. The cool breeze began to fill my lungs.
Anna lived in a nice house, not too cozy.
I knocked on the door.
Anna opened it. " Oh, hi Liah." She spoke.
" By the tone of your voice you sound unhappy to see me."
She scratched her head. " Well, you got kicked off the squad, and you've been, distant."Me? Distant? Well excuse me for trying to figure some shit out.
" I could say the same about you." I said.
" Look, i'm just gonna say it. I read some news articles on the house burning, Greyson was there. Somethings off about him. And you." Anna crossed her arms, and leaned on the doorframe.
" There's nothing wrong with him! He's lovely, you're just jealous."
" Me? Jealous? If I was jealous I wouldn't be talking to Turner!" She yelled.I froze. Did she really just say that?
" I'm leaving."
I ran off her property as quickly as possible.
I slammed my door shut, and grabbed my laptop off of the table. Victoria is the root of all this, why?
I needed to call Greyson, and ask him about it. No, he will lie. I need to call somebody who knows. Who would know what happened to Victoria? Who would know Victoria's relationship with him? All of her family has disappeared, or is dead.
I called Greyson.
" On my way." He spoke, then hung up.
A few minutes past, I sat ln my bed, waiting. A knock at my window alarmed me, and in came Greyson.
" What did you want?" He quickly sat next to me, awfully close.
" I- I need to ask you something serious."
He raised an eyebrow.
" How d-did you know Victoria, and how did you live in her grandmothers house." I looked down.
" I was very close to her grandmother, we formed a special bond. I have special bonds with the elderly, it's just something about their maturity."
" So why did you burn the house down?"
Greyson began to get angry, his face grew into a face I couldn't describe, it looked so evil.
" This is why. This is why I can't love anyone. They ask, t-hey talk about shit." He panicked.
" No Greyson, I- I love you." I lied.
He turned to me, pushing me onto the bed, his face inches from mine. I need to do something. I have snapped. I need to go to the police, I will. No backing down this time.
As Greyson kissed my neck, I reached for the flower pot on my desk.
I smashed it into his skull, dirt and leaves exploding everywhere. Greyson screamed, I quickly got out of the room, and out the window.
I ran as fast as I could, I know that wouldn't hurt him, but it was a good distraction.
I love you mom, I love you dad.I found an open field, and quickly called 911.
" Liah? what happened?" Anna spoke, holding her keys in her hand.
" He's gonna kill me! Help!" I dropped my phone, and hugged Anna.
" Liah, talk to me!"
" Greyson, he-" Suddenly, a old pickup truck pulled up to the field swerving and all. I was done.
" Liah." Greyson stepped out of the car, his head bleeding, a gun in his right hand.
Anna screamed, and Greyson pointed the gun at her.
" Shutup!"
" You wanna know what happened Liah? I'll tell you, then you die, just like the others."
I started to cry, this is insane, I wish I could turn back time, and never have met him.
" So Liah, where do I start? Well lets start with the death of you grandmother, Gabby." He smirked in delight.
I was in shock." I killed her, of course. I had a bond with her, but when she wanted to let me go, I let her go as well. I gutted her so bad, she went out in a bag."
I screamed, and fell to the floor.
" Oh Liah, thats just the start! Yes, I picked you because your personality ressembled Victorias. You also have her eyes. Victoria died, but she didn't commit suicide, I killed her, and made it look like she did. Her grandmother saw me do it, so I had to live there, and make sure she didn't say anything to anyone. I burned all the evidence when I burned the house, now the only evidence left is you, and Turner, and I guess Anna too because shes listening to all of this."
" Oh my god, you are truly evil."
Anna started to cry. " What the hell is going on?" She screamed.
" Shutup!" Greyson yelled back.
" Somebody help!" Anna cried.
Greyson pointed the gun and Anna, and fired.
The loud noise startled me, causing me to cry harder. Anna was dead. He shot her directly in the head, blood spouted from her forehead, drowning her face in red liquid.
" Greyson, please." I whispered.
He came close to me, his forehead touching mine.
" I love you, but I need to let you go, like Victoria."
I quickly kicked Greyson in the chest, and pushed the gun out of his hand.
" Oh you little-" Sirens flashed, and Greyson grabbed the gun.A few cops came out and immediently, Greyson was stampeded with bullets.
He kneeled to the ground.
" How grateful you were." He breathed.
The cops came towards me, and handcuffed me. " Wait what are you doing?" I screamed.
" You're under arrest for hiding the murders of Greyson Jones, and for murdering Victoria Garner."
