Ivy

Draperies opened, windows broken,
Arcade tokens, poems written.
Morning came, and woke up like a splinter,
Like cardinals in leaping cold winter.

I strode into my playground,
Egos swinging with a creaking sound.
They always sound so dismal,
Broken and blue rivals.

I will climb like an ivy,
On Monday that was dreary.
Unfurl leaves of disposition,
As I faced the morning sun with caution.

Red in the morning, ships are plunging,
Life is wailing that I'm just a petty being.
Blue in the evening, boulders on my path,
It made me stop at the place of wrath.

We can certainly deplete after the battle,
Punctured by words that made my cranium rattle.
Lashed with their acts and thorny tethers,
And cursed by violence and mounded with grey feathers.

I will climb like an ivy through your sill,
My limbs break your glass and all your wills.
I spread the glare of my notions deep down the soil,
And all the advice is ingrained in my mind and soul.
