Just then I get a call from Abhi.
"Ram did you get the message from the club?"
"Yeah just now. Don't tell me you're going! Dude you're getting married tomorrow" I half yell.
"Ram shut up! I've told them that I'll never come back and just close my membership"
"Oh"
"What about you?"
"Um- I.... um I don't really know" I scratch the back of my neck and move towards the balcony.
"What do you mean by that? Aren't you and priya a thing now?"
"She actually confessed that she loves me" I say in a low voice and he yells "WHAT? SHE DID WHAT?"
"Shhh!! Calm down asshole" I scold him and he sighs "God! Why did she do that! Why did she choose you!!"
"Excuse me? I'm listening and I'm offended"
"Dude! You know how you are! Feelings and you? No way! And you're actually having two minds for that show tonight!! Then how the hell can you say you love her?!"
"I didn't say I love her... I said that she confessed"
"What? Then what did you do?"
"We had sex" I shrug and he groans "You're such a piece of shit!!"
"I have asked time... I want to figure out my feelings for her"
"Great! Going to that show you can definitely be clear about your feelings"
"Abhi! Relax! She is asleep. She is damn tired and I don't think she'll wake up soon..."
"So? You are going for the show? UNBELIEVABLE" He yells.
"For god sakes lower your voice idiot" I scold him and he sighs "Ram... please don't hurt her... I beg you! You know her more than me now.. please buddy"
"Yeah I know. Her confession has actually complicated things now! Fuck man! I wish Priya could give me a show" I slam the railing infront of me.
"God you're so crazy! Such a douchebag"
Ignoring his curses, I ask "How do you tell that you love a person?"
"You like to spend time with her, you just love to watch her and can't keep your mind off her. You crave for her attention and you don't like that she spends more time with other guys or she is more comfortable with other guys than you. You can't see her sad and you just want her to be happy. It's like, you know you don't want to live without that person and that person makes you happy effortlessly and you've found your peace"
I take a few minutes to process this and dang!
I've been feeling this around Priya and with Priya!!!
"Abhi, are you sure?"
"What the heck man?"
"Okay okay thanks" I quickly disconnect and sit down on the chair. I rub my palms on my face.
Gosh! Am I really in love with her??
I shake my head and move inside towards the room where she is asleep.
A smile forms on my lips seeing her sleeping like a baby. I get in the bed next to her and become the big spoon as I cuddle her from behind.
"I think I do love you baby" I whisper and plant a kiss on her cheek. She stirs and turns around to only snuggle into me.
I caress her hair and close my eyes. Unknowingly sleep engulfs me and I wake up to priya kissing my whole face.
"Baby what are you up to" I groan in my sleepy voice and she giggles planting more kisses on my cheek, jaw and chin.
