The following morning after the clash with his mother had arrived. Tremaine, still feeling the aftermath of his mother's unexpected visit; how simply seeing her had triggered a massive amount of emotions and feelings to surface. Ones, he thought he'd buried deeply inside of him, but yesterday was a realization moment for him. He hadn't properly healed, nor dealt with those traumas and wounds; his mother had left him with. So he couldn't bring himself to get out of bed, he was in a terrible funk. He couldn't even pretend to be sociable, nor did he want to spoil anyone else's mood.
So, laid out of his stomach still fast asleep. He had no idea of the craziness that was about to brew below him.
Stevie decided to send everyone out for a spa day; with it being one of two of their last nights in Jamaica, she wanted everyone to end the trip on a good note. And she meant everyone..
Placing the tray of fresh fruits down on the table. Stevie heard the doorbell. "Shit!" Chewing the piece of mango she had. She hurried back inside of the villa from the backyard. "One sec!" Reaching the door. She quickly unlocked the locks and pulled the door opened.
"Hello."
Stevie flashed a quick smile. "Hi, sorry, come in." Stevie stepped aside making room for Diana to enter the villa.
With a quiet huff of a breath. Diana gripped the handles of her purse tighter. Turning on her heels to face Stevie. Who was shutting the door behind her. "Does he know I'm here?" She inquired.
Stevie shook her head. "No, and if I'm being completely honest? He wouldn't be too happy with me about agreeing to this. But since you're here, let's go talk, I placed some champagne and fruit outside in the backyard. He can't hear us back there." She pointed.
"Lead the way." Diana nodded to Stevie.
"Alright," Stevie headed towards the backyard. Anxiously she approached the table first, taking a seat. She waited for Diana to join her.
Diana sat her bag down on the table. Exhaling a deep breath. She took a seat across from Stevie. "I know you're wondering why I reached out to you?"
Stevie poured some champagne in both their glasses. "Yes." She voiced briefly as she grabbed the flute, taking a large gulp. Hoping to help ease her nerves. She was on the fence about accepting this sit down with her. Not wanting to be in the middle of Tremaine family business, and also because she felt disrespected by Diana yesterday, though she didn't speak on it out of respect for Tremaine.
Diana grabbed the flute. Taking a rather large gulp herself. She sat the flute back on the table. "Well, to answer your question. I had some time to think about the things Tre said to me? And I have to admit, I was wrong. I've made some bad mistakes in my life, done things that were selfish and cruel at times, but, I love my son, I love my son dearly, I promise I do. Whether he believes it or not? It's true, Stevie—"
