TW!!!
As the day of the Yule Ball arrived, excitement filled the air at Hogwarts. Students from all three schools were bustling around the castle, making final preparations for the grand event. The Great Hall had been transformed into a magical wonderland, decorated with twinkling stars and shimmering icicles, creating a breathtaking ambiance for the occasion. The enchanting atmosphere and the promise of a memorable evening had everyone buzzing with anticipation.
Emma made her way to her dad's chambers, eager to discuss her dress for the Yule Ball. The prospect of the ball was both thrilling and nerve-wracking, and she wanted everything to be perfect for the special night.
As Emma made her way to her dads' chambers, she unexpectedly ran into Professor Snape in the corridor. She greeted him politely, "Good evening, Godfather."
Snape nodded curtly in response, the dim torchlight flickering off his dark robes. "Good evening, Emma. I trust you are preparing for the Yule Ball?"
Emma nodded with a bright smile. "Yes, it's going to be an exciting night. I was actually on my way to my dads' chambers to discuss my dress for the ball."
Snape raised an eyebrow, his deep-set eyes fixed on her. "A matter of great importance, indeed." His tone was slightly cryptic, which intrigued Emma.
Before Emma continued on her way, she hesitated and turned back to Snape. "Godfather, have you seen Draco recently? I haven't really seen him around in the last couple of days."
Snape's expression remained somewhat inscrutable, but there was a hint of concern in his eyes. "I have seen him, yes. He's been preoccupied, but that is not entirely unusual for him. However, I will keep an eye out for any significant changes. Is there a particular reason you're concerned about his absence?"
Emma responded with a thoughtful look. "I might have an idea, but I can't be certain. It just seems like he's been avoiding me, and I'm not sure why."
Snape's concern deepened, and he spoke in a measured tone. "I see. I will have a word with him and see if there's anything he wishes to share. If you feel that something more is amiss, don't hesitate to talk to me again, Emma."
Emma's footsteps echoed through the corridor, her thoughts lingering on the curious exchange with her godfather. Draco's absence had been unusual, and while she understood that he had his own life and priorities, she couldn't help but wonder if there was something more beneath the surface.
As Emma continued on her way, she couldn't help but feel a gnawing worry in the back of her mind. Her godfather's concern had been unusual. The upcoming Yule Ball felt more uncertain and filled with questions than ever before.
Emma entered her dads' chambers, finding Harry already waiting there. The room was filled with the soft glow of candles, and there were fabric samples and dress designs scattered around the room.
"Hey, Harry," Emma greeted him with a smile. "Are you here for the Yule Ball dress discussion too?"
Harry, looking slightly out of his element surrounded by fabrics and designs, replied. "Yeah, I thought it might be a good idea to get some input from a pro."
Emma chuckled, appreciating his effort to be supportive. "Well, you've come to the right place. Let's see what we've got." She began sifting through the fabric samples, her mind already racing with ideas for the perfect dress.
Sirius and Remus, who had been going over some books in the corner of the room, looked up and joined in the conversation.
Sirius grinned mischievously. "Ah, the Yule Ball. Let's get this party started."
