(Short yet sweet. Didn't know what to write, but since I'm feeling under weather. Thought I'd write about Slogo being sick.)

Where you at? -

- Bathroom.

Reaching the bathroom I find Josh sprawled out on the tile floor with his phone in hand. His brown hair messy and skin pale while sweat sticks to his clothes. How I wish he wouldn't have gotten up from the bed. He looks so exhausted. Why didn't he tell me sooner?

I bend down to grab his right arm, motioning for him to help me. Using what little strength he has, Josh takes his left and wraps it around my neck, putting all his energy into his legs.

"Bed or couch?" I ask quietly. He groans and leans against my body slightly shaking.

"Sofa." He manages to get out.

"Do you feel like you're going to throw up?"

He shakes his head.

Being careful, I make it down the stairs with ease. Placing Josh on the couch, I set a pillow on the arm rest before I have him lay down. Then I take the checkered blanket and put it over him. Only for him to shift around not long after, trying his best to kick it off. Frowning, I place my hand against his forehead feeling it burn up.

"You have a fever Josh. I say we cancel today's plans. I want you to feel better. Here, how's this?" I ask after I rearrange the blanket so that it's half on him.

"Better."

"Good."

I bring a cold compress and place it on his head as well as his tea from over on the kitchen table, and set it on the short wooden one in front of him. I guess you could call it a foot rester as well as a place to set food. Sometimes we eat a charcuterie tray out here. Josh loves apples and pickles together. Whereas I cannot seem to find that taste pleasant.

"Do you want some water too?"

He doesn't say and glances up at me for a brief moment, his grey eyes weary and dry. All before taking out his phone. Mine, getting a little ding from a message.

- Yes, please.

You do know you can say it right? -

- I know. It's just easier this way. My throat hurts a little anyway.

- Could you turn on the tele too?

Yes. Is there anything else your highness? -

- Could you sit down next to me?

Of course 😊 -

I bend down slightly to reach the remote, turning it on while Josh messages me a movie. Smiling softly at his request, I go to Netflix and search for How To Train Your Dragon. As it starts I lift Josh's upper half and guide him down to lay on my lap. The pillow now leaning up against my thigh. My fingers brushing through his hair to soothe him while watching as he snuggles further into my hold.

I do hope he'll get better soon.

"Love you." I say, seeing as he drifts in and out of sleep.
