{Warning: Mentions of Murder and Abuse, Angst}
After yesterday's incident, Lance took heat pills and avoided Keith like the plague, he did that for the rest of the week and even after the Sendak incident. Having had enough, he stomped to Lance and grabbed him by the wrist and took him away from Shiro, "Keith, what are you doing?" he called to the descending pair, "I need to talk to him, sorry" Lance looked worried and Shiro just sent an apologetic look to Lance with a silent statement of they could continue the conversation later before they disappeared. "Y-you can let me go now" Lance tried to free his wrist not at all liking how just this form of contact was bringing back bad memories. "Will you not run and avoid me like the plague if I do?" he questioned, guiltily, Lance agreed, and Keith let him go and he rubbed his wrist. Now it wasn't a harsh grip, but he just didn't like getting grabbed like that.
He followed after Keith and they walked into his room, like Lance's it was bear with hardly anything aside from the bed and a separate door that was a personal bathroom. For that, Lance was extremely glad for that since he didn't want someone walking into a bathroom he was in and well finding things that they weren't supposed to see.
Turning to Lance, he crossed his arms leaving Lance to be confused.
"Why are you avoiding me" he asked, oh is that what he wanted to ask? "Um," because you're an Alpha and you nearly found out my status that I lied about. "Is this about the other day?" he questioned him, why did he feel like he was being interrogated? Looking down at his feet he replied, "Yes" he knew he had to answer, Keith was an Alpha, his superior and his crush. He had to obey unless he asked something that would send him into flight mode. Keith sighed; he needed answers. Only nearly two weeks with Lance and the others and he's the one that stuck out. It didn't matter what he did, he stuck out. He flinched at loud sounds, flinched away from when someone yelled at him specifically Allura when she didn't like how they weren't completely falling in tooth and nail into her commands of forming Voltron. But at the same time, he was timid, easily scared above all quick and quiet on his feet. Keith thought he made that a legend but no, Lance exceeds that to an absolute T.
It made him all the more willing to interrogate him until he got answers.
"Are you interrogating me for avoiding you?" Lance asked him tilting up his head to look at him, "Was, Now I want to know what your hiding" okay, now it's turning into flight mode. "What?" he tried not to make it suspicious, but it didn't work, nor did it help him. Keith could tell. Lance decided to back up towards the door but Keith being closer stepped in front of it and blocked his exit, he was trapped. "Keith move, let me out" he can't tell him, he just can't.
"I want answers Lance, not no beating around the bush bullshit. I hate that" he denied even though knowing fully well he was acting rash and doing so wouldn't get him answers, right at the moment it was really working on Lance because he was refusing to tell him anything. Shiro first noticed something was wrong when Lance was first accepted into the Garrison. And after he told him to keep an eye on the male Omega, it was then that he saw that Shiro was right. "I'm not telling you anything cause there's nothing wrong" he lied, lying was easy, it protected those he wanted to protect but it ultimately hurt those he's trying to protect as well. "You realize how unbelievable that sounds right?" yes, Lance knew that, but he wasn't going to say anything.
Why should he have to tell Keith and risk his life, why should he have to say anything about what was wrong with him. "I don't care, I won't say anything!" disobeying an Alpha was very bad for him but he wasn't about to be Keith's murderer too. "Lance, tell me, now" he shook his head, he wasn't about to murder Keith! "Lance" now that was a warning tone, but he wasn't going to give in. Keith uncrossed his arms and started walking forward to Lance however, he took steps back as the Alpha approached. When his back came into contact with the wall, he was now officially trapped in Keith's room, with the Alpha. "K-keith, move" Keith wasn't going to put his hands on him like the others, right? "Not until you tell me what's wrong with you" he can't, he couldn't tell Keith. He vowed never to tell anyone again about what happened at home.
