I swear, if I see another story with the words "Bad boy," or "Player," in the title, I'm throwing my phone out the window.
It's not that I have anything against these story types, but it's so overdone. Whenever I read a book like that, I could swear that they are all the same book. They are all exactly the same.
This is basically a synopsis of most of these stories-
There is a good girl with good grades, goody-two-shoes, never does anything wrong blahabalahblah.
There is a bad boy who hates everything, gets in trouble, bad grades, vandalizes, steals, behaves terribly, gets in fights blahblahblahblah.
They meet up and fall in love blahblahblah.
There ya go.
It's not that the plot line is terrible or anything, it's just that it's always the same.
If it's unique in some way, then I have no problem with it. I'd even read a genderbent version of it or something, but the same thing every story is so annoying.
Any stories that are pretty much the same every time, I hate, not just these kind, this is just the most common as far as I can tell.
People seem to think they can't do anything different. There's no law saying that your story needs everything that other stories have.
This is especially bad in fanfiction. It seems like every story is the same, once again. The main charter usually falls in love with the celebrity blahblahblah.
If you do want to do something more common, it's a good idea to put something at least a little different in there so it stands out.
