" hey josh, what's up? " i asked, pausing the episode of high school musical, the series i was watching. i think he would be a little freaked out if he heard his voice through the phone.

" hey, are you doing anything today? " his voice seemed panicked which made me sit up.

" no, what's wrong? " i asked, furrowing my eyebrows in confusion. joshua let out a long sigh.

" my car broke down on the way to set today. is there anyway you would be able to pick me up later? " he asked and i let out a sigh of relief. i thought something seriously bad had happened.

" yeah, of course. what time? " i asked, getting back into a comfortable position on my sofa. joshua told me he should be finished around four, which meant i only had two hours to kill.

i only had two episodes of season one left so it was perfect. i could finish them, get ready and leave. joshua text me the address, thanking me again for getting him which i found silly. he had dropped me back home from his house multiple times, it was really no big deal.

i finished the season, trying my hardest not to cry at ricky's big moment at the end. how have i never watched this before? it took a situation ship with the main actor for me to find out.

before i had chance to start season two, i had to leave to get joshua. i was excited to see him after our kiss last night, but for some reason it felt as though we had broken some unspoken rule. not that i minded.

i pulled into the car park the second the clock turned to four. i shut the engine off and decided to scroll on tik tok until joshua came out. ten minutes later and there was still no sign for him.

a knock on my window made me jump in surprise and i turned to see a girl with the most beautiful hair i've ever seen. i gave her a small smile before rolling the window down.

" aphrodite right? " she asked and once i nodded my head she smiled.

" thank god. i'm sofia. i've been looking all over for you for the last fifteen minutes. " sofia said, chuckling to herself. it took me a second to realise she was the girl who played gina in the show.

" josh asked me to come and get you. we're not quite finished yet and he didn't want you just sitting in the car. " that makes sense. i nodded my head, grabbing my car keys and my phone before getting out.

" thankyou for coming to get me. " i said, locking my car and following sofia in the direction of the school.

" no worries. josh has been speaking about you none stop recently, so it's nice to put a face to the name. " luckily, sofia was facing ahead so she didn't see the way my cheeks turned into a tomato.

joshua had been speaking about me? a lot? i tried to let it go over my head. he probably just said about when we had all gone out together and mentioned me in passing comment, right?
