The obsessed little girl and his protective rabbit.

Serenity's Pov

"For a few hours."

I was so ready to pounce on the smug man and scratch his face until he said the last few words. I stared at him like he was the one being plastered on the newspaper for running away from the mental asylum and seemed like my disgusted expressions didn't please the cold giraffe.

"What?" I whispered in astonishment, I knew I was attracted to him but there was no way this attraction would make me lose my face by wanting to be with the man I deeply dislike.

He wasn't my type, period!

"Look, I will let you not only contribute financially but you can handle the arrangements with me as well. But for that, you have to pretend to be my girlfriend for a few hours." His nonchalant behavior was irking me to not end.

The hell I will be his girlfriend! I would rather take a bath in the mud than behave like a woman in love with this shit ass!

"No thanks, if you're so eager to handle everything on your own then fine!" I held the bag standing up from the couch where I was pinned a while ago but before I could even take a step away he blocked my way startling me.

What is he? A flash!

"Look, you have to pretend to be my girlfriend," This time his tone and aura were both radiating the dominance that affected me so much.

No! Nope! You can't go that way serenity! Just don't!

"And I have to do that because?" Watching my poker face having no intention of letting him tame me down he took a deep breath and it was obvious he was irritated now. But do I give a fuck? Hell no!

He took a step closer to me reducing a decent distance we had before and before he could utter another word the doorbell again rang, "You hear that, the girl outside of my house is obsessed with me." Well, I would have shot a sarcastic comment at him but I knew there were many women out there who actually were obsessed with him.

"She's too young and I have no interest in her,"

"Then why don't you tell her directly?" I mumbled earning a small chuckle from him as he sighed heavily.

"You think I didn't? I used gentle, harsh, insulting, and even far worse tones with her but she's just not ready to give up! She's too young and considers me her first love. I have a good relationship with her father that's why I don't want to harm her, so," He paused looking right into my eyes with his beautiful green eyes that slightly resembled emerald color.

Well even if I didn't like this man there was no harm in admitting that he indeed had the most beautiful and rare eyes I have ever witnessed before. I had never seen green eyes this beautiful before and each time he looked in my eyes I found it hard to resist him, and this was the thing I knew one day would cost me a lot. For sure!

"You want her to give up by showing her that you're in love with another woman," I completed his unsaid words and he gave a stiff nod. I looked at the hallway when another bell rang. The girl was indeed stubborn, even after he didn't answer the door for almost ten minutes she still was standing there.

"I promise you I will owe you this one." I thought about his words for a few seconds and watching me not saying anything he narrowed his eyes.

"Fine! But you really owe me one!" I watched as a small smile appeared on his lips making me freeze for a few seconds. I had never seen him smile before maybe it wasn't much of a gesture but still, he had a beautiful smile.
