Meeting you was a fate or God has vowed to test my patience.

Serenity's Pov

"Uhmm, are you sure you're in the right place?" I said looking at the couple who didn't seem like they ever came into our area before.

The woman was cladded in a light pink dress reaching to her knees with her hair tied up in a soft bun, while the man was another story. The soft looks and beautiful smile that the woman had adorned the man was the complete opposite of her. His physique kind of resembled that of a bodybuilder. His sharp blue eyes stared at me like I had asked for his kidneys.

"Oh no, we are at the right place. You must be Olivia Gomez right?" I raised my eyebrows in confusion. Why would such a high-class-looking beauty and the beast would want from my sister?

I was about to deny her when she stepped near me and held my hand in her soft one, "I am so happy to finally meet you. You're so beautiful." I couldn't help but look away from her radiating grey eyes.

No woman before complimented me this way except for my sister. She was looking at me like she had found her long-lost treasure. Clearing my throat I smiled awkwardly at her, why am I so bad at communicating with people? Help me God, only for this one.

"Thank you, but actually I am no---" Before I could even continue the statue-like man stepped near us and wrapped his arm around the woman's waist forcing her to leave my hands.

"Darling, stop jumping on her. You're scaring her." He mumbled softly and finally, I realized he wasn't really the cold man I assumed him to be.

But I differed with his words, I wasn't scared of her, I was just born awkward. "It's ok, but may I ask who are you?" The man looked in my way nodding his head.

"I am Xander Storm, and this is my wife Amelia Storm." That was it!

The awkward smile I had wiped away as my jaw hardened watching the couple, Mr. Storm seemed to understand my expressions and instantly he tried to speak but I interrupted his tries, "Eric Storm's Parents!" I mumbled keeping my voice in control.

My parents taught me to always be polite to elders no matter how much anger I have toward them. And even though I didn't like Storms after what their younger son did I wasn't going to be disrespectful to his parents. I held the knob of the door before looking at them with a straight face which snatched away Mrs. Storm's smile.

"I don't think we have any matter to talk about, kindly leave," I said staring at them with a blank gaze.

Mr. Storm left his wife's side and stepped near me, we didn't have much height difference but still, I had to tilt up my head a bit as he was still a few inches taller than me. His cold eyes stared at my uncompassionate ones, I wasn't going to get intimidated by him, especially after what his son did to my sister. And the fact that they dared to come here irked me.

"I understand your anger kid, I know what my son did was wrong and if you give us just a few minutes we would like to explain." He said earning a soft chuckle from me.

" I respect you, Mr. Storm, and because of that I am not slamming this door shut on your face, please don't do this and leave. We have nothing to talk about." This time Mrs. Storm stepped in again and placed her hand over my shoulder looking at me.

"I can understand your anger, Olivia,"

"Serenity," She paused when I cut off her sentence, she looked at me with a frown and then she realized she wasn't talking with Olivia but her sister.

"Serenity, you're Olivia's sister." I gave her a soft nod.

" Yes, and I am not just angry Mrs. Storm. What your son did had made me beyond engaged, and I can't guarantee for how long I can keep up this politeness, so please." I motioned at the door but the couple was stubborn they both shared a look and before I could say goodbye to them someone entered the living room.
