Alexander confused the young girl when he suddenly pushed her completely behind him, even though their height didn't differ much but her fragile frame was still no match with his muscular ones, his wide shoulders and stiffened posture successfully hid the delicate girl, his gesture almost made her suspicious as if he was trying to hide her away from the woman in front of him. She wanted to see who it was that made him work up like he had never before but he had completely covered her sight.

She heard him murmuring revealing the name of the woman Brielle Stanley, his tone seemed tensed and hard as he stared at the smiling woman while clearly trying for her to not get a slightest glimpse of the woman he was so tempted to take right against his car a while ago.

"What a surprise! Alex," Her way too sweet voice entered Serenity's ears as she again tried to peak at the woman but Alexander flexed his shoulders even more not letting her come into sight.

"Is it really a surprise?" He mumbled in his usual cold tone which was directed to everyone except the special lady of his, the suspicion and stiffness in his tone added to Serenity's confusion.

Brielle chuckled, "Of course, I often come here, I like their coffee." She replied with her sweet smile but Alexander knew she was anything but nice.

"Right, then you should go and have your coffee," Giving her a curt nod, he was about to turn around to drag the curious woman away but it wasn't easy to get away from the sly one.

"Who is she?" Alexander clenched his jaw clearly looking distasteful at her inquiry, he stared at Brielle for a longest time in pure silence before letting out a soft sigh.

He slid his hand in Serenity's intertwining their fingers before gently pulling her beside him revealing both the women to each other, the moment their eyes met Serenity was taken aback when she realised who it was. She remembered this woman, she had seen her many times on the news, media never got tried of singing about how great and a good hearted busines woman she was, sometimes she wondered if Brielle was paying the media as all she heard about her ever were great things.

Brielle's sharp green eyes met Serenity's brown ones and instantly she let her hawk eyes examine her, the features were so ordinary, a simple face structure, beautiful yet not worth the attention of Alexander Storm especially when the man had the most beautiful women at his feet for him to cast a single glance at them but he chose her.

"Meet Brielle, my business former partner's daughter, and meet Serenity," He tightened his grip over her hand making her look in his way in confusion, he seemed extremely tensed.

"My girlfriend." She didn't expect that actually, the way Alex looked so bothered by this woman's presence she thought he might lie for some reasons but he actually revealed the truth.

Brielle's curious gaze instantly turned into a stunned ones when the tall man revealed the truth, girlfriend? If Alex hadn't said it with his mouth she would have never guessed Serenity being his girlfriend. Brielle stared at their joined hands and something in her irked to no ends, the fact that this gesture wasn't something unusual to her but what shocking was,

Brielle steadily raised her eyes matching with Alexander's hard ones, and it hit the nerve, just a moment ago he was all mushy and soft for this unknown girl but now the way he looked at her like she was the most unwelcome person had hit the spot where she hated to feel pain the most, especially by this man.

Covering her shock skillfully she gave a small smile, "Congratulations, the way you stayed single for so long I didn't expect to find your girlfriend now." Alexander was smart enough to not miss the mock and narcissism in her voice, she actually thought he never gone into another relationship because of her did she?
