Author's Pov

Alexander frowned deeply placing the tablet on the table, his scary gaze stared through the spectacles dangling over his nose. He knew this was coming especially after he had an unexpected encounter with her. His hands trembled with anxiety, he never cared about such matters before but now he had someone he feared losing, he was scared of something happening to her because of the vicious people surrounding him.

Brielle, that woman! She was an obsessive girlfriend but after she insisted on breaking up Alexander easily let her go, but what left him astonished was the fact that she kept tabs on him even after the break up. She suddenly became his stalker and followed him around, they met a lot of times after their break up and even after knowing about her tactics Alexander didn't care to sort her out especially when he didn't have anyone beside him until now.

Alexander knew one thing for sure, he cared deeply for Serenity and as expected Brielle didn't follow him coincidently, she had him followed, he didn't care until his private investigator told him about someone keeping an eye on Serenity as well. Alexander would be damned if he let anything happen to her especially when she was being watched only because of him.

Grabbing his phone he dialled a number, "I need a favor," The man on other side gave a position response sending a wave of relief to Alexander's heart as he leaned back.

Alexander glared at nothing promising himself, "Don't worry, little rabbit. You're mine to protect." He had no idea what these new emotions were but he knew only one thing, he needed her safe and sound.

Meanwhile

Brielle chuckled hearing the words of her secretary, she looked at him sipping the wine before her eyes again went to the closed door from where the man just walked out. "You're right, he's stupid." She admitted nodding her head but her moon shaped eyes looked at the tall man with a twisted smile.

"But stupid people are mostly useful if you don't want to get your hands dirty," She placed her glass on the table before standing up and undoing her bathrobe making the man turn his back to her.

"He's vengeful, and stupid, it's an advantage for me to what I want Alex to understand." She walked towards the pool side which was right beside the living room, the man followed her but kept his gaze away.

She looked intensely at the pool water before glancing at the frowning man, "I like when he's scared, in my entire time with him I have never seen him scared except for once and it was for his brother when he had an accident, I want to see if," Her smile flattered and she suddenly glared at the cold water gritting her teeth when the familiar brown eyes appeared before her.

"She's as important to him as his family because if she is then," She turned her body towards her secretary who gulped watching her closing her eyes and spreading her arms.

"She can't stay." With that she loosened her body and fell straight inside the water with a loud splash.

The man standing there tensed up hearing her words, Brielle indeed had Alexander followed for years but she never went too far until today. His eyes darkened when she pulled her submerged up revealing her drool worthy figure making him try and look away but she was fast enough to raise her eyebrows at him.

"What are you waiting for? Come!" He knew what she was hinting at and a small smirk appeared over his lips as he didn't resist removing his clothes and jumping in to become the tool she loved using whenever she found herself lost in the memories of Alexander.

Brielle was crazily obsessed with that billionaire, as per her words she fell in love with him the very first time she saw him in that party and after a few encounters she proposed him. She thought having Alexander would be enough but suddenly he became an untamed quest she badly wanted to conquest. He was so close yet so damn distant that a few times it made her insecure of what she even lacked.

She had him completely, Alexander even told her how she was the first woman he was intimate with, they shared everything a normal couple would. They went to dates, worked and even had beautiful moments including the enough intimacy between them, Alexander never let her feel that he was running away from her but emotional he was never as invested as she was.

Even after break up, her obsession with him didn't subside, for years he was single and no woman beside him. She thought he was just like that, emotionless, rude and cold. Until that one woman entered his life, Serenity Gomez, she brought a side of him out which Brielle badly wished to see during their relationship.

He had all emotions in him, it just waited for that one girl. He can become jealous, he can be possessive, he can be protective and affectionate. He had everything in him, he just didn't find her enough worthy to have the privilege to enjoy those perks of being his girlfriend. Yet instead of making her realize that he was never hers, Brielle found her obsession igniting higher than before.

She was going a little far this time, but this was the only way to confirm how much that poor girl meant to him. And if she really wasn't just a mere attraction to him then Brielle vowed to go as far as she could to make him understand she was the best option for him.

On the other hand, Serenity looked at the time and bit her lower lip, Alexander specifically told her to be careful with the timings, the place where her centre was based was actually isolated, there were two alleys to cross until she could reach her house. But those both alleys weren't as safe as she intend to believe from the time she started working here.

Alexander had scolded a few times because of her crossing them late in the night. And even today it hit 10 pm because of her remaining workload after the centre closed. The man even offered to lend a few men of his to her so they could help her with the work and after that drive her back to her house but she being stubborn clearly told him if he dared to leave anyone behind her, she will make sure to never let him cross her again.

She heard the ping on her phone and as expected it was Alexander, he was asking her of what she ate tonight, he knew she always had her dinner at 9 but if she told him that she was late today, he will call her and give her a good scolding. So she decided to lie.

Picking her phone and bag, she wrote a message of telling him what Olivia told her that she made tonight for dinner. Alexander instantly replied and this time a small smile appeared over her lips reading his messags, "Next time I will make sure to cook for you, i am a great chef." He said making her chuckle before she replied in a teasing tone.

She locked the centre and started walking towards the alley, she chatted with the man but soon she felt a chill against her spine, her smile faded away and she stopped replying to Alexander before increasing her walk. There was one thing Serenity had learned from her childhood, to never look back if you feel anyone following you, just dash away!

And that was what she did, she held onto her bag and ran faster but she wasn't as lucky as she thought because soon enough the gust of wind past through her body throwing her against the wall. She gasped out feeling her back hitting the concrete wall before her body was restrained and a large hand came up covering her mouth.

Her wide brown eyes met with the familiar dark ones and before she could overcome her shock, the cloth in his palm pressing against her mouth did it work throwing her into a poo of darkness within a second.
