Serenity stared at the dress she had to wear today for her sister's engagement, Olivia was already sent to the beautician to get her ready, Liliana personally offered to escort her to the stylist and then to the venue as Serenity had an important work. She gulped before walking towards the small device settled on the dress table, Serenity knew what she was going to do today was extremely risky especially when it could disrupt all the celebrations but she had to.

After the engagement there was a small family dinner in Storm's mansion and there Josh will come. He had called her numerous times from yesterday to remind her that he was going to be there and she had to announce him as her fiance. Serenity could feel how excited and undeniably cringe he sounded, indeed a greedy son of a abnoxiously money hungry parents.

She grabbed her phone and dialed a number and just after two rings the man instantly picked her call up, "Hello, Alexander I want to meet you before the engagement." Alex frowned fixing his tie as he was all ready to run to the venue, Serenity and Alexander had to be the first ones to arrive there in order to greet the guests.

"It's important." She added when she heard no reply from his side, she knew he must be confused at how she was right with him last night then why she didn't talk to him then and there.

"Ok, I will pick you up in 20 minutes." She agreed and hung up the call before tightening her grasp over the device in her hand.

She grabbed her peach hued gown having full sleeves, the dress was undeniably aesthetic and eye catching and the moment it met with her body, her beauty enhanced even more. Serenity didn't have much time as she had to handle a few matters of her business before getting ready so she didn't agree to get herself a beautician or hair stylist. She knew a few hair styles so she decided to make one.

Wearing a set of earrings and a simple pendant she smiled as she caressed it, it had bit worn out but she could never forget to wear it on special occasions after all it was gifted to her by her father. Just when she wore box heel sandals she heard her phone vibrating indicating that Alexander was here.

Taking a deep breath and throwing the device in her bag she exited the house but not before locking the door securely. She made her way towards the car and found the man already standing leaning against it. As usual he looked like a Greek God but a bit more handsome than usual as he had used gel on his hair to style them. She felt a pang of disappointment when his beautiful eyes were covered with sunglasses.

She could feel his intense gaze burning holes in her body, he was taking his time in checking her out. The moment she neared him, the sound of her rapid heartbeat echoes in her ears. She was surprised at how he had so much affect on her. What she didn't notice was him bobbing his Adams apple trying hard not to engulf her in his arms and kiss those full lips that were covered with brown lip gloss.

"Should we go?" He blinked coming out of his lost trance nodding his head. He couldn't find his voice to speak and he knew if he did she would know what kind of sinful intentions he had after catching her irresistible frame.

They both settled inside the car and Alexander ignited the engine before speeding away, he stopped at the spot where they got their full privacy and then the conversation went on for half an hour. Their talk halted only when Alexander got a call from Adrian who almost yelled at him for not arriving on time.

After the conversation, Alex's mood changed completely which didn't got unnoticed by Serenity, the fear once again started scratching her chest as she stared at him trying to see what he was thinking but after they finished their talk he again wore the disturbing shades not letting her to get any of his emotions. His stone face, clenched jaw and thinned lips, it indicated only one thing. He was angry. Damn much.
