You being a new kid

Being a new kid in school. Guys are obviously trying to hit on you but you didnt like the way they pester you and all. It's been a week in school and you could see that there are lesser guys chasing after you. You were relieved but you didnt know why you werent bothered by them anymore. 

One day, a friend teased you. "Yah, you have a silent warrior in your shadows... im so jealous~" you didnt know what they were talking about and you asked them to be more precise. 

"Dont act like you dont know! Cant you see that the boys arent chasing you any longer because someone might be protecting you?? Aigooo, we dont know who that warrior might be... but if it's Jung Daehyun, i swear i'll faint! He's the guy of every girl's dream~" your friends joked and you were blushing. Yes, you had a soft spot for the popular guy in school.

But one day, you had extra curriculums and school held you back late. As you were on your way home, the atmosphere freaked you out and you just plucked in a earpiece to not feel scared. As you couldnt listen to your surroundings, there were footsteps behind you. 

Shockingly, a man grabbed your shoulders and pushed you to a wall. You tried shouting for help but he covered your mouth. You thought that that was it. No escape. surrendering yourself, you shut your eyes but that moment, you felt nothing.

You opened ypur eyes slowly to see someone familiar beating that man. As he finally scattered away, he turned to you and awkward moment came in. 

You:"J-jung Daehyun??" 

DH:"ermm.... hi? Are you okay??" You nodded and after he acknowledge it, he turned to walk away.

You:"wait! So all this while it has been you? The silent warrior??" 

DH didnt understand the warrior part but he just gave you an eye smile and scratched the back of his neck shyly. 

DH:"Dont get me wrong... i dont have any bad intentions. Just that i want to ensure you're safe..." 

You:"why didnt you just show up in the first place? Why must you do this all in discreet?" 

DH:"well, im afraid you wont like it... i mean you arent interested in any guys in school so i thought that i would make no diff as well..." he sort of pouted and that drove you crazy.

You:"pabo.... you couldve just confessed... i like you too..." you were too shy but you caught his elated face. In that moment of silence, you suddenly felt a hand over yours and led you the way.

DH:"Come let's bring you home first. Today must have been harsh on you. I'll do a proper confession in school tmr. Rest well princess." He turned to you to kiss your forehead then intertwined his fingers into yours before continuing the walk home.

You never thought that you would live the dreams of every girl but Daehyun certainly did chose you out of the other millions.
