Leave without saying goodbye

You were currently looking for a part time job when one of your classmates suddenly sat beside you and told you that she knows someone who needs an assistant so you asked her if she could introduce the person to you. She's one of the staffs of an agency so you could certainly trust her when it comes to those things until she asked you to come with her inside the agency after class and so you did. You guys went straightly to the agency where she works and knocked at one of the dressing rooms. By the time the door opened, she pulled you in then let you face Jung Dae Hyun who you adore the most. You stood firmly in front of him as you tried to calm yourself down since you couldn't believe that he's standing in front of you with such an adorable face.

Your classmate tapped your shoulders from the back then stood beside you. "Dae Hyun-ah, please meet (your name)-ah. She's my classmate and it looks like she's interested at what you're looking for." She told him before she pushed you near him. You nervously looked at her and saw her smiling at you. "Goodluck daewon hehe~" She whispered then went away. You were supposed to follow her when you remembered that you're standing in front of Dae Hyun while he's looking at you. You shyly faced him then said "A-Annyeong..." with a smile.

"Do you really want to be my assistant?" He asked you.

"Nae!" You confidently answered him making him smile in relief. After two weeks of working, while still eating lunch inside the school's campus grounds, you received a text from Dae Hyun saying that he needs you to be with him for a moment at around 6 pm so after school, you fixed yourself and went to the place he's telling you. You kept on walking on the streets until someone suddenly bumped you for you're looking around finding him not when you noticed that the person who has just bumped you is no other than Jong Up and the person standing beside him is Zelo who's also in disguise. They bowed at you in exchange of speaking just to greet then went inside the van just when you saw Dae Hyun standing in front of you which made you jump in shock.

He just widely smiled at you then said "You're good at baking right?"

You nodded at his question and waited for his next question.

"Then can I request you to teach me something?" he continued and you just smiled at him then answered "Sure. What is it?" He didn't answered. Instead, he just pulled you inside the van and let you go with them until you've now finally reached their dorm. The other members went inside their room and just slept while Dae Hyun pulled you into the kitchen. He took some flour and such from the cabinet and some ingredients inside the frig before you could notice that the ingredients are all for "Cheesecakes?" You suddenly said and broke the silence.

He looked at you then warmly gave you a wide smile right before he nodded. "Could you help me make one? Jebal?" He showed a puppy kind of expression but you just laughed at him since he's always that quite naughty when it comes to you and talking with the other members as well. You nodded and helped him making one.

After minutes of letting it cool down, you took a fork then tried to taste the cake just when you got a call from your butler. You answered the phone and noticed that it was very quiet from where he is not like before. You looked at Dae Hyun who is currently sitting at the kitchen's table and waiting for the cake. He smiled at you just when you showed him your phone. "Go ahead." He told you and so you did. "Nae?" You said.

"(Your name)- ssi. Your little brother (his name)..."

Your hands started to tremble for you know that your little brother have some cancer and it's now very critical especially now that your father is working abroad and can't he go home at times like this for he's very busy with his schedules and the company won't allow him to go. You tried to calm yourself as you tightened your hold on the fork then said "Wae? What... happened to him?"

"He's having an operation now and it seems like it's very critical (your name)-ssi." He replied.

"Since when?!" You shouted as the fork fell on the floor.

"Just minutes ago." He calmly said.

"Wait for me got it? I'll head there!" You rapidly cut the call and faced Dae Hyun. "Mianhae but I have to go now." 

"Do you need someone to drive you?" Him Chan asked you after walking towards the both of you and it seems like he heard everything. And because you're now starting to panic, you just nodded and ran down together with the two of them.

By the time you reached the hospital where your brother is confined in, you went out of the van and saw someone almost being bumped by a car so you immediately ran towards the child and pushed her. Luckily, you got safe as well although your back got hit by the post behind you. You tightly hugged the child and didn't noticed her mother running towards you as well as Dae Hyun and Him Chan. "Aigoo! Are you alright?" The child's mother asked right when you released the child from your hug. "Yah (your name)-ah! Are you really alright?" You just smiled at them whilst the pain is just too annoying inside when Dae Hyun helped you to stand up right when you asked him to. "Kamsamnida... really I'm very thankful about this. We owe you one." You just nodded once again and smiled at them before you could now finally enter the hospital and went straightly in front of the operating room. 

You slowly went there since you couldn't run for your back aches a bit from being hit. Thankfully, Dae Hyun and Him Chan is there to assist you until you guys finally reached the room and saw your butler standin in front of the door waiting for the doctor to come out. "(his name). Any news or update? What happened to him before the doctors started operating him? What was he doing?" You rapidly asked him while ignoring the pain which is making your fingers tremble a bit. You can't calm yourself for you love your brother so much. "He just sleeping right when the cardiac monitor started to make some sounds about his heart rate." He answered in a low tone just when the doctor came out and looked at you as well as your butler. 

He bowed his head a bit and said "I'm sorry but that's all we cou--"

"ALL?! Are you kidding me?" You told him while still standing at where you are. You just stood there and didn't move for even though you wanted nothing will change. It has already happened. You grinned and closed your mouth right after glaring at him. You tightened your fist and crumpled coat right before sighing and letting a tear fall from your eyes. You glared at the doctor for the last time and walked away since you couldn't believe that it happened that fast. It's like an hour had only passed when your brother hugged and smiled at you for the last time. 

Your feet brought you to the nearest park where you and your brother usually go to and sat near the fountain without noticing Dae Hyun standing behind you. You turned your gaze at the stars and wiped the tears on your cheeks. You smiled and said "(your brother's name)-ah. M-Maybe by now... you could smile with Eomma. You... I never imagine that this would go this far. You left me without even saying--"

"Goodbye... that's the hardest part isn't it?" Your eyes widened in shock right when you heard someone from behind talking. You quickly looked at him and noticed that the person was standing behind the fountain and you couldn't see his exact image for the water is blocking his face. You stood straightly then tried to walk near him but he suddenly vanished from where he's standing at from awhile until someone from behind hugged you and covered your eyes. He made you face him but he was still covering your eyes not until you felt something soft on your forehead right when he uncovered your eyes. Your eyes widened in shock right when you noticed that the person who was kissing your forehead while hugging you is none other than Dae Hyun. He later placed your head in between his shoulder and neck as he warmly gave you a hug. "Go on." he whispered and started patting your head. You then closed your eyes and let your tears fall to your cheeks before you hugged him as well. "Everything will be alright, arra? I'm just here for you." He told you in a calm relaxing voice right before he kissed your lips and hugged you once more.
