 -Daehyun's POV-

“I can’t believe that in five minutes my little sister is going to be a part of your family,” Youngjae sighed as he fixed his bow-tie, while I messed with my hair. “I can’t believe she wants to be, actually,” he chuckled and I rolled my eyes, looking at my best man’s reflection in the mirror. “You better take care of her, Daehyun,” Youngjae put his hand on my shoulder. “I’m counting on you. Keep (Y/N) happy.” “I will, I will,” I smiled a bit and stopped myself from messing with my appearance anymore. “Daehyun,” Youngjae turned me around so we were face to face and looked straight into my eyes, “I mean it.” “I know. I’ll take good care of her,” I gulped and he let go of me with a small smile on his face. We walked to the altar and assumed the position. In just three minutes, the woman of my dreams was going to walk down that aisle and I was going to marry her.

Yes, I did meet her through Youngjae, but on accident. The greatest accident of my life. Youngjae and I were hanging out at his place on a hot summer day. We sat on the porch with some music playing from his phone and cold glasses of homemade lemonade in our hands. We were singing and goofing around as we usually did together, and that’s when I first saw her. She just came back from a run, and apparently wasn’t supposed to be home until I had left. Her long, light brown hair was up in a ponytail, there was only a small amount of sweat visible on her brow. There was pinkness visible on her cheeks and her chest was rising and falling as she tried to take in as much air as she could. Youngjae caught me staring and told me, “No.” “Why?” I asked him, keeping my eyes on her. “Because that’s my sister, you fool,” Youngjae hit my shoulder and I tore my eyes away from her.

I didn’t even see the resemblance until he pointed it out. It wasn’t a strong resemblance, but after a long hard look at her, I could tell they were related. When she passed us, she greeted us with a little grin, very similar to Youngjae's, and told me her name was (Y/N) and that she was going to take a dip in the pool and was wondering if we wanted to join her. I jumped up and said 'yes' with what was probably one of the biggest smile on my face I’ve ever had. I remember seeing Youngjae getting up and following me into the house, I knew he was watching me watch his sister. With a sigh he said, “So it begins..”

Three years later, I’m standing here in a chapel with my best man - her brother - and all of our friends and family standing before me. In less than a minute, my bride was going to reveal herself. The music started and I straightened up and took a deep breath, anxious to see her. The maid of honor lead the groomsmen, who were the rest of my bandmates of course, and the bridesmaids on their arms slowly down the aisle, followed by the little ring bearer. Every person seemed to be taking their own sweet time, it felt like every second was an hour. Then, a little four-year-old entered with a happy smile and a tiny little basket of petals which she threw like a professional, if I do say so myself.

And then... SHE entered.

Tears filled my eyes at the very sight of her. There was (Y/N), dressed in a beautiful white gown with a perfect smile to go with it. She and her father made their way down the aisle and I gulped. Youngjae patted my back and whispered to me with a little grin, “And so it begins..”

(Y/N) made her way to the front of the altar with her father. He smiled at me warmly while sternly shaking my hand, a sign that he was entrusting his little girl to me. I nodded to him and looked at my stunning bride with the widest smile I’ve ever had on my face. I nudged her a little and she tried not to giggle too loudly. I chuckled as I caught Youngjae rolling his eyes at us as if he were annoyed, but I saw that smile on his face. At first he wasn’t happy about my relationship with his sister. In fact, (Y/N) and I had to sneak around a bit before we told him we were dating. Youngjae was bitter about it for a little while, but eventually got over it when he saw how much I loved her. The biggest hug I’ve ever gotten from him was when I told him I was going to marry his sister.

The priest started his speech thing and I tried my best to pay attention, but I couldn’t because in my mind all I could think was Mrs. Jung (Y/N), Jung (Y/N), Mrs. Jung (Y/N). When it came time for our vows, which we wrote ourselves, I grabbed the piece of paper I had written mine on, scanned it and put it away, deciding to just wing it. All eyes were now on me.

“(Y/N), from the moment I saw you, I knew you were the one. Even your brother knew from the way I was looking at you that I was instantly in love, much to his displeasure. But he got over it, right Youngjae?” “I approve of this wedding,” he chuckled and she laughed. “(Y/N), I’m so happy I met you that summer day. Since I’ve met you I’ve just.. I’ve been happier,” I stopped the tears from falling out of my eyes. “Meeting you was the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me. You stole my heart from the moment you smiled at me. My dearest, your eyes are always shining. Your smile is always beautiful. I’m so lucky that I get to spend the rest of my life with a woman as sweet, friendly, and funny as you are. I love you, Y/N).”

“And the bride’s vows?” the priest gestured to her. “My dearest Daehyun, thank you for going against my brother’s orders to not date me and ask me out anyways,” she winked at Youngjae who winked back, “I never knew what love really was until I met you. I had never met a guy who made me laugh and smile as much as you do. Since our very first kiss, I knew that we were meant to be. Whenever I’m with you I get this nice warm feeling inside, and I.. I love it,” she wiped a tear that slipped down her face. “Thank you for making me the happiest woman on Earth, Daehyun. I’m so overjoyed that I get to spend the rest of my life as Mrs. Jung (Y/N). I love you, Daehyun.”

The priest asked us to exchange rings and we did, though I almost dropped mine while putting it on her finger because I was shaking from happiness. When we got them on, I held her hand in mine and wiped some tears from her face. “Then by the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife,” the priest proclaimed. “You may kiss the bride.” (Y/N) threw her arms around my neck and I wrapped my own around her waist, dipping her and pressing my lips against hers while the crowd cheered. After a few quick seconds we parted and smiled wide at each other, then ran down the aisle hand in hand. When we got outside to the limo to go to the reception, I turned to (Y/N) and kissed her cheek.

“Ready to spend the rest of our lives together, Mrs. Jung (Y/N)?” I smirked. She laughed as we both got in the car and shut the door. “And so it begins, the adventures of Jung Daehyun and Jung (Y/N)” She kissed me and I smiled against her lips.

And what a wonderful beginning it was♥
