"Alright, we have a new student"

One day, you were studying in your desk and your teacher came in. Everyone went back to their seat. The teacher said, “Alright, we have a new student. Im sure almost all of you know him. Come in.”. You were just looking down, covering your face with your hair. Thats your habit. Then your class started to whisper. You looked up and saw Daehyun standing in front of the classroom with his uniform on and carrying his bag. The teacher said, “This is Jung Daehyun, and he will be our new classmate beginning from today. Daehyun-ah, sit... hmm....” and the teacher was looking around. The seat next to you was empty, and you knew the teacher will tell Daehyun to sit next to you, since that was the only seat available, so you quickly put your bag on the chair next to you. The teacher said, “(your name)-ah, can you move your bag and let Daehyun sit next to you?”. Your classmate were just giggling and whispering. You took your bag and put it down. Daehyun came and sat down. All the girls were looking at Daehyun. You felt so embrassed so you put your face down again.

It was after school. You packed your bag and you went out of the classroom. You were walking across the field to go back home. You were walking then suddenly a football hit your head. You fell down, touching your head. You were just rubbing your head. You felt quite dizzy and when you looked up, Daehyun was running towards you. He squad down and asked, “Hey, are you alright? Sorry”. You just nodded and as you were about to stand up, you found out that your knee was bleeding. Daehyun said to himself, “Shit.” and he said, “Hold on” and he ran to his bag and carried it and ran towards you again. He took your bag and said “um lets go to the nurse first.”. You said, “its ok”. Daehyun said “lets go” and he helped you walk. 

As you guys arrived at the nurse, he opened the door for you and you went inside. You sat down and the nurse put some red medicine on your knee. It was stinging so much so you quietly said “ow” and made some weird face expression. Daehyun looked at you and laughed a bit. You looked at him and he asked “does it hurt?”. You shook your head. After the nurse has finished, you stood up. You said “give me my bag”. Daehyun said “ill carry it. lets go” and he opened the door for you again. You guys were walking and walking. People from your school were looking at you guys, so you said “Yah, you can go now.”. Daehyun smiled and said, looking front, “Are you embarrassed? Why?”. You said, “Dont you see? They are going to think you are a psyco if you keep...”. Daehyun smirked and said “its fine. Im just hanging out with my friend, so who are they to judge?”. You looked at Daehyun and asked, “Friends?’. Daehyun smiled and nodded. You rolled your eyes and took a big breath. You said, “Are you making fun of me? Do i seem that easy to you?”. You snatched your bag and started to walk. Daehyun ran and was walking beside you. He said, “Why do you think im making fun of you? I just want to be friends. Why are you getting so worked up?” You looked at Daehyun and said, “Ok. Look. You dont know me. And i dont know you. You cant be friends with me just because you said so. Ok. You and me. We are really different. We cant be friends.”. Daehyun asked, “why not? just being friends is simple.”. You said, “yeah it may be simple to you, but to a girl like me, its quite a burdensome. You have everything. Looks, talent and friends. But me, i have nothing except for my voice.”. Daehyun asked, “Are you a singer?”. You scoffed and said “If i was a singer, do you think i would be alone like this everyday?”. Daehyun smiled and said “Im not different. Im just like you.”. You looked at Daehyun for a while and thought ‘is he different from the others?’ but after few seconds, you said, “never mind.” and walked. Daehyun shouted, “See you tomorrow!!!”. You didnt look back and was keep walking. 

It was the next day. You were walking to your school, alone as always then suddenly somebody called your name from behind. You looked back and Daehyun was there. People were staring. You just ignored him and started to walk really fast. But Daehyun caught up by running and he asked, “Is your knee fine now?”. You whispered, “How can you shout my name like that in front of everybody”. Daehyun asked, “Why not?”. You sighed and said “I told you yesterday that...”, Daehyun cut you off as you were talking, “I also told you yesterday that i wanna be friends with you”. You stopped walking and looked at him. You said, “Why?”. Daehyun smiled and said “Well maybe cos i want to”. You rolled your eyes and started to walk. As you went into your class, some boy in your class threw a paper at you. It flew past your face and your face was cut. It started to bleed a little. Then Daehyun came in behind and he saw your face. He asked, “Yah, what happened to your face?”. People in your class started to whisper, and one boy asked, “Yah, Jung Daehyun, why do you care, huh? Are you guys dating or what?”. Daehyun scoffed and asked, “What?”. You felt so embarrassed and you quickly went back to your seat and sat down. Daehyun sat next to you and said, “What the hell is wrong with peeps in this class.”. You were just looking at your book. Daehyun asked, “Are you ok?”. You ignored him again. He asked, “Let me see the cut.”. You ignored him. Then the boy who threw the paper at you threw a book at you and shouted, “Aye, do my homework”. As the boy threw the book, it hit your lips and your lips started to bleed. You felt so mad inside. You were boiling inside. Daehyun asked, “Yah, are you ok?”. You stood up. People stared at you. You picked up the book and went to the boy. He was drinking a milk. You smashed the book down on his table and said “Am i your slave. Go ask your dog to do it for you. Im sure your dog is better than you, scoundrel.”. Everyone said, “Whoaaaa”. Daehyun was smiling and he shouted, “Whoa!!! Somebody just got pond!”. People started to laugh, as you were about to go back to your seat, the boy stood up and held your wrist and pushed you to the wall. You were so startled and shocked. The class was silent. You were just glaring at the boy. He said, “A dog is better than me?”. You scoffed and said “Yeah. You are worse than a dog, get it?”. The boy kicked the desk next to you. You were so startled. But you stayed calm. The suddenly the boy put his hand on the wall and said “How about you?”. You smirked and said “Even if i dont have friends, i still think i am better than you.”. The boy laughed and said “How, huh?”. You smiled and suddenly hugged him. People started to go, “Oooooh”. You moved away and said, “your heart is beating like Usain bolt.”. The boy shouted “What the hell do you think you are doing!!”. You said, “Sorry, i thought this was what i was supposed to do”. You went back to your seat and sat down. People were staring at you and you were just looking at your book. Daehyun poked you and said “Not bad.”. You smiled.
