(F/N)'s constant scribbling in his notebook, followed by glancing back and forth from his textbook to his notebook, got to a point where he was doing as much as he could before classes began. When it was time for breakfast in the Great Hall, (F/N) carried his books and stuff with them and sat down at the table to continue his work, all while eating spoonfuls of the cereal placed on the table. His eyes didn't dare move away from the text he was reading, not until he had to check his writing to make sure that he wasn't messing up the spelling and punctuation.

When the first class began, (F/N) hurried to where he was supposed to go, all so that he could jot down as much as he could before it began.

Ron took his seat next to him, and noticed what he was doing. He could see his frantic scribbling, his head turning from book to book.

"It's like I'm sitting next to Hermione," Ron said. "What are you doing?"

"I'm..." (F/N) began, trying to find the amount of brain power to accurately answer Ron's question, "trying to figure out how to do wandless magic."

"Wandless magic?" Ron asked. "That's a kind of dangerous thing to try and practice, don't you think?"

"I won't know until I try," (F/N) replied. "Besides, I think I have something figured out. I just need some more information." Ron continued to look in shock at how much (F/N) was writing, seeing the mixture of instructions from tai chi and performing the spells.

But before he could speak up and say anything, he was caught off guard by a cat jumping up onto the desk. It was Professor McGonagall, and when she saw (F/N) scribbling in his notebook she transformed back into her human form and looked over (F/N)'s shoulder.

There she could see for himself the kind of stuff he was writing down.

"Studying hard, Mr. (L/N)?" She spoke up. (F/N) tore his head away from his book and looked towards Professor McGonagall, who was looking at him with raised eyebrows.

"Uh..." was all he said, too shocked from her sudden appearance. "Y-Yes ma'am." She took a closer look on the stuff (F/N) wrote down.

"Mr. (L/N)," she began, "while I can appreciate your dedication to your studies, wandless magic is a dangerous magic to perform, as Mr. Weasley has told you." This was a chance for Professor McGonagall to give this lesson to a lot of students. "Students, I don't want any of you to try and perform wandless magic on school grounds! The effects of such can be very dangerous and your spells will be rather volatile."

"But, Professor McGonagall," Ron spoke up, "hasn't a lot of us performed wandless magic once or twice before Hogwarts?"

"Indeed," McGonagall replied, "but they came at times of stress and panic. And it was also magic out of your control, which is why you all have wands." She then looked down at (F/N), watching as he marked where he left off. "Now, I'll allow you to continue studying the art, but if I catch you using wandless magic on school grounds, I will deduct points and you will be sent to detention. Am I clear?" (F/N) nodded his head.

"Yes ma'am," (F/N) replied.

"Good."

And continue studying he did. As classes came to an end, (F/N) hurried to his next class, hoping to squeeze in even more studying.

Which got the attention of another student.

In Potions, (F/N) sat at his table and continued his work, scribbling notes down. Along with it, he had his potions book propped up so that he could hold it open without using his hands.

Dragos, normally the first student in Potions class, was surprised when he saw (F/N) sitting at his usual spot. When he took a seat, he curiously looked at the books (F/N) was writing in and saw what he was writing about, along with some pictures of glyphs and stances for wandless spells. He just eyed him with a bit of disgust. Why would a student, who couldn't even hold a wand properly, try and perform one of the most difficult magic in all of Hogwarts? It wouldn't give him a leg up, even the most skilled of wizards, like Dumbledore, still uses his wand.
