(F/N) sat on his bed, as the night began to roll around, holding the amulet in his hand. He examined the details of it. He turned it over in his hands multiple times, staring at it like it was a puzzle. He could see that there was some part of it that moved, most notably the thing in the center. He shook the amulet, tried to pry things to move, and tried to force the moving parts to move, but to no avail.

While he was trying that, unbeknownst to him, he was being watched from a different plane of existence. Three figures huddled around a window to watch (F/N) attempt to unlock it.

"One of the smartest students in this school, yet he uses physical force to try and use the Eye," one said. "To think that he is the one she chose."

"Though you cannot deny her ability. She has chosen one student, out of all who attend these schools, who has the ability to feel magic. He's been able to cast spells using our glyphs, and his dedication to his studying shows that he is willing to learn," another explained, referring to some third party."

"But we have to be swift," a third voice said, "if this is to be our Champion, then he will need to quickly unlock the power of the amulet in order to best the so-called 'King of Dreams'."

"We were explicitly clear on interfering," the first voice said, "though powerful as we are, we cannot simply walk in and solve every single puzzle the humans go through, magical or not."

"Then we won't open the door, we'll simply point to the keyhole," the second voice said. "Look, he's drifting to sleep. Now is the time. Hurry, Agamotto!"

True to what they were saying, (F/N), whether exhausting all the power in his brain or too tired from his trip, slumbered into unconsciousness. He didn't bother hiding the amulet, and just let it sit there in the palm of his hand. His head hung, his mouth slightly agape, he started softly snoring as his mind drifted off to the dream dimension.

As his eyes closed, the amulet began to move. The moving parts (F/N) tried to force was moving on their own, and the center of the amulet opened up like an eye. A soft light shone on (F/N)'s face, like a lamp being pointed at his face, until it focused right on his forehead.

~~~
(F/N)'s eyes shot open, but it wasn't because of the light on the amulet, but for something else. The ground shook, following a loud cry in the distance. It was like a horn went off, and the ground shook in response.
(F/N) wasn't on his bed, he was standing upright and holding onto a spear! Having leaned on it while he was taking a nap, only to be alerted to something happening. Looking behind him, he could see that there was a soldier, dressed the same as himself, approaching to see what was happening. The two of them then looked down into a canyon below, and there they could see large beasts moving through the sand, heading towards the plateau they stood on. The soldier turned to the others.
"Molduga are approaching our position!" He called out to them, to which (F/N) followed up with;
"It's more than we thought! It's a swarm!" Just like the dream before, involving the lady and her Patronus, (F/N) wasn't in control of what he was saying or doing, just watching through different eyes. The soldiers were scared of these creatures, and the fact that a large swarm was approaching meant that it was an attack of some sort.
Suddenly, they felt a presence nearby, the kind of presence one feels when Snape, or McGonagall is behind. (F/N) turned to look, and there he saw, what the person knew, the king! But he wasn't as human as he looked, in fact the others there weren't exactly human-looking. The king was a large, dark-skinned humanoid, with horns on his head, long ears, and a necklace around his neck that was jade-like in color. And there was something odd on his forehead; it looked like a jewel piece.
