(F/N) instantly went in for a tactical retreat, wanting to live to fight another day and try his luck some other time. But as he made the hand signs to open the eye, Nightmare hurled an attack over at him, connecting at his chest and sending him hurling back along the crimson road.
Dhargey quickly pulled out his wand and whipped a spell over at Nightmare, only for the entity to simply laugh as he blocked each one. Dragos, finding the two of them incompetent, drew his wand and sent a flurry of magic attacks over at Nightmare, but the dream demon just blocked them some more with his hand.
"Ooo~ A bit more sting in that one," he kept smiling, even as he was just blocking them.
"We need to get out of here!" (F/N) called out, pushing himself back to his feet.
"I don't think so!" Nightmare called back, creating a clone to appear behind (F/N) and grab him.
"You know, of all of the wizards who had made there way here, none of them have ever decided to try that tickling spell you used," the Nightmare clone said, while (F/N) just tried to wiggle free. "So when you sent that spell up mine, not only was I laughing from it, but laughing at how you're the only one to think of something like that!" (F/N) eventually decided to get physical; bringing his arm up and jabbing his elbow into Nightmare's kidney. He let (F/N) go and stood in an exaggerated way to reflect how bad the hit was. When (F/N) got away, he watched as the clone dramatically died and melted into a pool of green sludge.
But that green sludge would soon counter, rushing up to (F/N) and shoving him off of the road. Since he wasn't in his astral form he couldn't stop himself from flying. But as he thought he was going to fall to his death, his cloak came to the rescue! Aloft like a feather, (F/N) was pulled back up to the road and positioned himself with Dhargey and Dragos.
"Petrificus Totalus!" Dhargey shouted, hurling the spell over to the floating Nightmare, the original one. The spell hit, but it didn't last long. The Nightmare tensed up and froze, falling to the crimson road at a frightening speed before crashing to the ground and shattering like glass. But that was just another one of his toying around, as he soon reformed into his body. He chuckled with glee as he rose up, watching as all three of them huddled together even tighter.
"Rather niftly little spells you have there," he said, "but do you have any that actually work?" He asked before hurling balls of flames at them. The ball of fire soon split into three smaller flame bolts, rushing to each one to land an attack. Dhargey and Drago batted the attack with their wands, as an invisible force protected them from the attack, while (F/N) held his hands up and let the glyph he formed protect him.
"Interesting," the clone Nightmare said, standing and watching with a scrutinous glance. The three of them nearly forgot about that one, to which they turned to ready themselves for another attack, which only served to be a distraction. The original Nightmare slammed his hands to the ground and made a pair of hands grab at their ankles, but the cloak was faster. Lifting (F/N) off of the cursed area, and letting him over above.
"Interesting indeed," the original said.
To keep (F/N) in a dazed state, or to simply keep him off balance, Nightmare's horse started to run into view, nearly crashing against him, which he was thankfully saved by his cloak. "That blanket is getting rather annoying," Nightmare said with a scowl this time, having his fun interrupted by a red cloak that helped (F/N) fly.
(F/N) looked down at his friends and formed a glyph with each hand, sending a simple attack down to knock the hands away, as Nightmare mounted his horse. (F/N) closed his eyes to concentrate, and swiftly made the hand signs to open the amulet, but the Nightmare clone hurled a fiery spear at (F/N). He knew that the cloak would protect him, but it was the one way to disturb his concentration to get out.
