(F/N)'s quick escape from the crowd soon turned to a walk when he was in the clear. He looked down at the ground and continued walking, making his way to his common room so that he could jot down what he went through.
And not only that, but there was that curiosity of what was in Fawke's ash dish. What was producing magic from deep within the pile of ash. Was it something important that Dumbledore trusted his pet phoenix to protect, or was it something that a thief would want to steal for money, or perhaps it was both? He was wracking his brain trying to retrace the steps, but all he could really remember was that he wanted to protect Dhargey from the spell.
For a moment, he pushed wandless magic to the side, after hearing Dumbledore saying he would put it into consideration. Now, he just needed to figure out how he was able to do it. The only other thing he looked to in order to figure out the details was to go and confront the dream he had, but there was no chance he could revisit that dream. He remembered the details, like how the 'Semblence' is like a muscle', and then formed a glyph in the palm of her hand and created a beast from nowhere.
Who could he turn to in order to figure out what he could learn from his dream. One person came to mind: Dhargey! He was likely in the Room of Requirement right now, meditating away the loss he experienced, as well as his fears, but as (F/N) rounded the corner, he nearly bumped into a few people.
He and the other backed away, and taking the moment to see who it was he nearly knocked over in his attempt to run off. He recognized one of them, Ron Weasley, who was talking to a girl with ginger hair and a boy with dark hair and round glasses.
"Woah!" Everyone collectively said as they took a step back, their bodies tensing up as they backed away from each other.
"Sorry," (F/N) said as he looked at each of his classmates.
"Where are you off to in such a rush?" Ron asked. (F/N) opened his mouth to answer, but soon stopped himself when he looked at he boy with the glasses. He could see the heatwaves emanating from his person, two different types: one of heavy intensity, and the other of a lighter intensity. The heavy and intense heatwave came from his forehead, above his right eye, while the lighter intensity of the waves covered his entire person. "Uh...hello?" Ron said, waving his hand in front of (F/N)'s face. He snapped from his thoughts and went to answer his question.
"Uh," he began, "I was on my way to find Dhargey. I was wondering if he could help me answer something."
"Dhargey?" The boy with glasses asked.
"He went back to the common room," Ron answered. "What are you needing help with? I'm sure Hermione could help with that." He motioned to the girl in the group. (F/N) looked between the two of them, and then faced the girl, Hermione.
"I had a dream last night, and I was wondering if there was someone who could help me figure it out."
"Does this have to do with the spell you cast in DADA?" (F/N) was surprised when he heard that.
"Y-Yeah. How did you know?"
"Word travels fast," Hermione answered. She then let out a huff. She knew an answer, but didn't really agree with it. "You could ask the Divination teacher, Professor Trelawney."
"Professor Trelawney would know something about that?"
"It's called Dream Interpretation," Hermione added on. "There's apparently other ways to see the future; astrology, augury, and cartomancy."
"What's cartomancy?" The other boy asked.
"Predicting the future with cards, either playing cards or tarot cards." This made (F/N) stop for a moment. Tarot cards? His thoughts instantly raced to the card he got from Luna, who had gotten it from a lady named "Madame Web". If Trelawney wasn't going to be of much help, like Hermione seems to think, then perhaps the woman who gave the enchanted card to him would probably help!
