Night time had descended upon the school, as students of all form was coming back from classes and commune time with friends. Everyone ventured to their dorm rooms, getting ready to sleep away the troubles they had gone through today, or to see what tomorrow had in store for (F/N) and Dragos.

After their confrontation in the DADA class, people were more than likely going to be saying things. And there were rumors that Dragos had a bone to pick with (F/N). There was also the talk of the glyph. Any student wishing to find meaning in the glyph researched what they could.

But night time also carried with it a plague that seemed to continue affecting the students.

For (F/N), it was one he didn't know about, but he was still scared nonetheless.

He was on the streets of Diagon Alley. He carried with him the text books, the cage for his owl (meant for delivery), and some of the other things he needed that Hogwarts graciously funded for him.

The streets were crowded with different witches and wizards. Among many people walking down the streets, they were muttering one name: Sirius Black. (F/N) could see the moving wanted poster of a killer that had escaped from Azkaban, but he didn't worry himself with it. He continued along, trying to head to the next store. He didn't get his robes or his uniform, he was still lacking that.

He pulled the trolley, finishing up his shopping, until the voices from the people in the alley began to disappear. It started with their voices saying different names: Sirius Black and Narcissa Malfoy. (F/N) didn't bother trying to find out the details. All he could assume was that it was just some kind of affair, or perhaps something else entirely. But when the people started to disappear, he stopped in his tracks. In the blink of an eye people popped out of existence, nowhere to be seen. He was all alone in the alleyway he had trouble finding. Soon, it was just him.

The shops were empty, no living being was visible, and the signs just swayed from the light breeze. Soon, the light at the end of the alleyway faded, and the sky darkened. There was no one at all to be seen.

That was, until, a cackling was heard. A voice of a woman, whose laugh was evil deep down, boomed through the alley like the Sorting Hat during the ceremony. Whoever it was that was laughing, they were really busting their gut. But that laughter didn't find itself seeping into (F/N)'s person, it wasn't a contagious laughter. (F/N)s heart started to beat rapidly the longer he heard the laughing, until a lamplight shone down on a figure.

It was a woman, dressed in black like she was mourning, and messy, long hair. She looked over at (F/N) with a chuckle and a laugh, taking a few steps closer, wand in hand at the ready. (F/N) went to grip his stuff tighter, but even they disappeared as well. He looked down at where they were, confirming that they were gone, and then looked back up at the lady at the end of the alley.

But she was gone! Disappeared like the other people, but she still lingered. He knew because of the laugh that he heard. It surrounded him, following him, until the woman appeared next to him. She lunged at him with a scream, reaching out and grabbing one of his hands. Grabbing that, she started to tug him towards one end of the alleyway. Looking down he could see that the woman had a mark on her forearm: a skull with a snake slithering out of its mouth.

The woman continued to pull on his arm, with (F/N) resisting. Following that, there was the sound of a growl opposite of the two of them. (F/N) looked over and saw a dark wolf at the other end of the alley. The wolf growled as it looked towards the two of them. It then jumped into the tug of war, leaping towards (F/N) and grabbing his other hand, pulling him in the opposite direction. It had bitten (F/N)'s other hand to get the grip.

Both the woman and the wolf was pulling on (F/N)'s hands, trying to get him to one side of the alleyway, but there was one side-effect of what happened: (F/N)'s hands started to get damaged. The biting and tugging was starting to mangle (F/N)'s hands.
